Very sterile and defensively guarded group of people resulted with a terrible experience. Any place that requires you to sign a waiver that explicitly says that they will not tolerate abusive behaviour has to make you wonder if they are the ones causing anxiety among their customers. The vet insisted on overnight stays and unnecessary x-ray for a total bill of $2600. We took the dog elsewhere, to a friendly clinic, who wanted to help and the cost was in the $400. Also the clinic refused to give a report even though we paid the consultant fee of $110 I didn't expect a response from you, so thank you for that. These following paragraphs are to provide you with more information. I don't believe that your staff will report that my wife or I were rude, however, I find that your policies create a passive aggressive environment. For example, My dog was not able to walk and was under a lot of distress so I asked if they could get him from the car on a stretcher (since they wouldn't let me carry him into the clinic). She quite simply said no, and that I could go somewhere else if I wanted (very passive aggressive behaviour). We agreed that I would bring him to the vestibule. Your staff dropped him no less than 4 times trying to carry him. We never once commented to them about this obvious mishandling behaviour. As for the vet charges, I understand that everyone wants to make money, but you had $2000 of unnecessary fees on it. And another passive aggressive attitude of a take it or leave ultimatum. (my wife told him that we were not comfortable and did not to leave the dog there for 2 days - at the time we thought he might die) When I took the dog to my vet, the first thing they asked for was a report from you folks. i had to tell them that you refused to give me a report (more paSsive aggressive behaviour). The report that my $110 consultation fee should have bought. The very report that I am still owed. As it stands now, I have received nothing for the paid $110 consultation fee. Respect for people is good. I have never had to sign a waiver that explicitly details it. Your organization's respect to its clients is poor. The fact that your response is defensive and suggests that your are right in all you do, and takes no consideration to create a better customer experience, is yet another example of the policies that lead to your passive aggressive behaviour.

After an accident involving our dog Bear requiring tail amputation everyone at the emergency clinic from start to finish was very caring and compassionate. Dr Malik was in communication with our family the whole time and whenever speaking with him his primary concern was the dogs health. I highly recommend this clinic. Hopefully I never have the need for them again for our dogs.NO OFFENCE DR MALIK!! Thanks for your caring and assistance.

The staff at VECYR took fantastic care of our dog during a very difficult time. Our poor yorkie has been sick and in pain for a while and Dr. Malik and his team took the time to properly diagnose her and initiate the best treatment available. I am amazed at the kindness and compassion that they have shown us and am so thankful that our baby has finally started feeling better! She is back to her energetic self, is happy, and is clearly pain free! Thank you SO MUCH! I would recommend this clinic and wonderful team of staff to anyone who is seeking care for their beloved pet.

Always find that this clinic treats my pets with the same love and care as I would. I have used this urgent care clinic for a number of years and always have had the same great service with care and love every time. They explain the treatments and follow up care in depth detail and include the follow up details as well. Both my previous pet "Mandy" and my current girl "Sara" have had excellent care with treatments that are special for their needs and the right path to take. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone!

Exceptional Clinic! I can not express how pleased I am with the care and services Dr. Malik and his team provided our sweet Sugar. As you can well image having an unwell pet can be so scary, but the staff were so comforting and loving with Sugar. Dr. Malik treated Sugar as if she was his own and his bedside manner and expertise is just outstanding! Thank you Dr. Malik and team for your exceptional care ❤️

I don't give bad reviews but in regards to your beloved pet…Take them to another emergency vet. If I could give zero stars I would. I brought my dog in after she developed new onset of seizures. Asked the vet after he brought her back out to the waiting room after his assessment what her basic vital signs were (blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation) they had obtained none. After spending $160 to walk in the doors for the initial assessment. They quoted me $2900 to keep her at the clinic for 24/hr evaluation. No breakdown of fees. We ended up taking her home after they took her blood for evaluation $550. We returned later to get antibiotics and were told they would send us her blood work via email as we requested so we could take them to our regular vet. The day I brought her in the clinic was very busy so I was understanding and figured they would send them the next day. I waited. Nothing. I called twice that next day and each time was told they would be sending me the blood work results. Waited… nothing. It is now the morning of my appointment at my regular vets office so I decide to call at 04:00 to get the blood work results after my dog has been in and out if seizure (I have been waiting for over 2 days). The receptionist was rude and brushed the request aside. Stating “the clinic sends the emails in the early morning”. Even though The afternoon receptionist explained to me on the phone that it was the vet techs job to send them out in the evening. I explained again that I had been waiting for a couple days now and that that the last time I had gone into this emergency vet they never ended up sending their blood work results to me or my vet. The receptionist was extremely rude and hung up. Makes me feel as if perhaps no blood work was actually obtained considering no basic assessment was completed. Don’t risk your beloved animals life at this clinic. They are not welcoming/friendly and have below standard patient care. 0/5 stars

It's the most amazing place for your pet . When they say it's part of the family they mean it. I'm so impressed by the professional and personal care of everyone working there. You and your furr baby are not a number or a moneymaker the staff really cares. I'm glad that i brought my Dog to that great hospital. I highly recommend them and I'm thankful for taking such good care of my Baby

This hospital is just exceptional. From the time you come to the hospital, with the front desk staff and the vet techs – every single person is so caring, knowledgeable and is truly looking out for the best for your pet. During one of the most stressful life situations, I have never been more grateful because being able to come this hospital was a true blessing. I have not enough words to thank Dr. Malik for what he did for Bella and I. He took Bella for surgery when we were in a very tough situation and helped us. If you have experienced some vets and hospitals being more into profit and the money, instead of caring more about saving the life of your pet in the most dire situation – I have experience the complete opposite of that with Dr. Malik. There are very few people in this world with the care and compassion as Dr. Malik, and I have the utmost respect for this doctor and anyone would be truly lucky to be under his care. I can never thank Dr. Malik enough and I hope I can one day give back to him and his hospital! Bella got to turn one year old a couple days ago, while being in the best hands at that hospital! Thank you VEYCR for everything you have done, and anyone I know who has a pet I would recommend they bring their pet to this hospital, even if it means driving over an hour to get treated by Dr. Malik and his team. By coming here you will have the peace of mind that you will be getting exceptional care!
