★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent place for concerts. Last few times, sound has been pretty good. That's pretty much where the 3 stars ends. Don't expect any kind of service from the bar staff...some of the most dismissive automatons I've come across. Many give off a "why am I even here?" vibe, especially during metal concerts where most people in the room couldn't be bothered to buy ridiculously overpriced cocktails, or even water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some friends and I went last week here because we heard it was decent. However, I was overall underwhelmed with the experience. We had to wait in line for an hour and a half when we came 15 minutes before the club opened. It was free for us because we came early, but cover was $19 otherwise. On top of this, the drinks were definitely more on the pricy side and the music was subpar. There wasn't a lot of great songs to dance to; however, we did go on Global Night so that probably isn't their main line-up of songs. The dance floor was okay, but nothing memorable. Overall, not a bad club, but I don't think I will be going again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friends and I came out last night around 9:15 and I told the bouncers I had a guest list and they told me that we had to wait in the line anyways so 10:30 rolls around and we are still waiting so I ask the bouncers why we haven’t been let in even though we had a guest list and they proceeded to tell us that our guest list was invalid but when I tried to check in they said I had to wait in the line. I’ve heard great things about venue you but last night the bouncers were rude and screwed a bunch of people with guest lists over.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Club itself was good and had good music as well as bartenders. The bouncers outside were unnecessarily rude and yelled at many people for no reason. I almost wasn't let in because the bouncer began claiming my id was fake although he let a group of people from my same country in with no problem. It took a whole lot of arguing for the "boss" bouncer to let me in after being accused of discriminating by people, we all thought he probably wanted money. Other than that, fun night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last night we went there with our friends. We were really excited. We were waiting in the queue and showed our ID's as asked. The bouncer was so rude and misbehaved, didn't know how to talk with guests. We went inside and joined our crew and danced for a while. After that when we went to bar, while placing the order we asked the bartender to put some ice in our drinks. The bartender went so angry that he threw away the glass he was holding and looked at us with anger. We ignored that and went to floor again. The third time when we went to other side of bar, and ordered for the same drinks and ice, the same bartender was there again and he created the scene out of nowhere and called other guys and bouncers. They didn't even listened to us and asked us to go out. I mean i didn't expect this kind of behavior in hospitality industry. As I have also worked with big hotel brands. This place just spoiled our mood. But there are other good clubs like Studio, they were best when it comes to guest experience and hospitality. Better than the venue guyzz.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was an good place. They could have had a better sound system or something equal. Sound would distort a lot. For the same prices as other places I feel it should have better sound and talent. Other than that, staff always treated me awesome! Hope it re-opens as something new and better! RIP VENUE!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to see Amine with my sister. The bouncers let any pretty girl in before us those of us who waited in line for 3 hours. Once we were in the venue was tiny and could barley fit all of us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never again am I coming here again. We went here for a concert and paid double the price. We were also allowed to reenter any time. When we came back from the parking lot, the bouncer wouldn't let us in. He started threatening us when we asked for his reason.
I don't feel safe if the bouncer themselves are the ones ruining this club.
This will be my first and last time coming here. Vancouver doesn't need such an embarrassing place like Venue.
