★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for DragonForce and it was awesome. Staff were friendly, it wasn't too packed and the food was priced well. I have to say that was probably one of the best chicken burgers I have ever had and it came from a warming drawer style fridge system. It was crunchy and juicy. I expect nasty but I received a perfectly cooked chicken burger.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great venue - the smaller scale creates a more intimate concert experience and lets you get great visibility on the acts, regardless of where you are. There are tables surrounding the central floor area, although they go fast, so best arrive really early if you're wanting a seat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best venue in town for live music. It can be a bit of a free-for-all to try and order a drink at the main bar, and definitely paying a mark-up on drinks. However the history of the place, combined with the lights and sound is a great combo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great venue! Lots of room to sit. They offer table service as well which includes drinks & food. Has an upper stage to watch from too. Bathroom upstairs and downstairs. Has 4 bars. Amazing would recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good night. Have to get there really early to get seats or table. Servers pretty quick. Very crowded though when a good band in, can't see much if at tables on the bottom level (we learned the hard way). Less than 1/4 staff wearing masks unfortunately though. Just security pretty much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Vancouver gem delivers again! 54 40 is an amazing live band and there is no better venue to see them than the commodore ballroom! Great party!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a good set up of tables and seating off to the sides of the stage, once the concert got going could go and take a break from dancing there. They do sell bottled water for $4.75, but you can also get a glass at the bar. The bar will not refill your water bottle for you though.
The bathrooms are very clean, and have really nice light up mirrors that are flattering.
You are not allowed in and outs, so no smoke breaks. I have read other reviews saying people smoked inside, we didn’t have this issue. No one checked my purse at the door b
Clearly a venue that knows what they are doing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love Commodore, great place to see shows! When ticketmaster wouldn’t help me after numerous attempts I contacted this venue directly by email. They were quick to offer a solution I was super happy about. On top of that their box office staff was super friendly too! Great team ❤️
