★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a bike here and within the first 10 minutes of riding the back wheel shifted and was rubbing against the frame of the bike. I wanted to return the bike right away and they refused to refund me. Upon further examination the back wheel had a wobble. They did not put much effort into this bike. Nor did they wish to help me out. Once they had their money they did not care at all. I talked to the owner who eventually just hung up on me. DO NOT BUY A BIKE HERE!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super happy i found this shop. Was ripped off continually by JR bicycles, last time was quoted $120 for a repair that at velomakak they did on a spot in 20 minutes for $25. Very friendly owner and stuff, honest and decent people. My only sorrow that i didn't find them earlier. From now on will only come to velomakak.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good initiative to open this kind of shop, but it as to be run by people more professional than this. Not all the all of the material is tested and in good condition but they will sell it anyway. Also the price is not fixed. It can be cheap one day and more expressive the next day for the same item. My advice is, if you know to little about bicycles go with a friend who can guide you to buy somthing good and also try Pawn Shops. You could find much better deals for much better price and the taxes are included.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prices are bit high for what you are getting. I rode mine for maybe six blocks and the wheel shifted and was rubbing on the frame. took it back and the guy was nice and fixed it, he said that if anything else happened I could go back to get it fixed. So the buying part was okay.
Don’t ever sell a bike here. He’ll pay peanuts. We got one bike for $172 and six days later he paid us $50 for the same bike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had such a nice experience here. I came by because my bike was making a weird noise, they took a look at it, shifted one part and bam! Problem solved. They didn’t even charge me even though they totally fixed my (albeit super simple) issue for me. They were friendly and knowledge about my bike (ordered from Amsterdam). My husband and are will only be bringing our bikes here from now on.
