Vedder Mountain Veterinary Clinic

After moving to Chilliwack, I began bringing my cat and new puppy to VMVC. The clinic staff are friendly, professional, and great at handling both the administrative and veterinary aspects of animal care. The facilities are clean, the prices are super reasonable, and they have been respectful and responsive to my previous vets recommendations. Very happy with the care my pets have received so far!

I took my havanese, Maddie into this vet clinic on April 2nd because she had been sick for over a week. After running tests we learned that she had chronic kidney disease and diabetes. The vet was honest about what the outcome of treatment would be and gave us our options. We decided not to let Maddie suffer any longer with the chance of recovering being low. It was such a tough decision I could not watch her be put down. A week after the event and having to say goodbye to Maddie after 10 1/2 yrs flowers came to my door with a card that was signed by all the staff at the clinic. I was so touched that they thought about us at this time. Thank you to everyone who works there and were so considerate to know that it is a tough time for people. Greatly appreciated.

This veterinary clinic doesn't seem to care for their pets. We brought out cat into this vet since he got attacked by some sort of animal which left our cat with a puncture wound on its leg. After the vet looked at the wound he said that our cat would need to get a procedure done that was going to cost about $1000. Since this procedure was so pricey I was wanting some time to be able to talk to my family about the possibility of getting this procedure done but in the moment our cat was obviously in severe pain. Due to this situation I asked the vet if we would be able to give my cat some antibiotics and pain meds as I go talked to my family quickly, which they said they wouldn't be able to do. So I brought my cat back home and told my family what happened which led to someone in my family calling the vet where the secretary was very rude and unprofessional. In the end we decided to make an appointment asap at Sardis Family Pet Hospital just a few hours after I visited Vedder Animal Veterinary clinic. During this wait our cat's health was getting worse and again it seemed like he was in so much pain. Once we finally were able to visit the Sardis Pet Hospital they immediately gave our cat antibiotics, pain meds, and a healing creme all for under $200. In only a few minutes of the vet doing this, our cat was doing so much better and now about a month after this incident, our cat's wound has almost fully healed with no issues and he is back to being his normal self. Overall I'm just really disappointed that they would allow for a situation like this to happen. I definitely don't recommend coming to this vet, there are much better ones in Sardis.

The entire team are amazing! The front desk staff are friendly, the vet techs are amazing and do follow up phone calls after medicine is prescribed to make sure your pet is doing okay and to see if you have any questions about treatment. Dr. Randhawa is the vet we see and he is so kind and gentle with our doggo while giving her the absolute best medical care we could ask for. I absolutely recommend this clinic, they have fit me in at the last minute multiple times and always take excellent care of our dog. I am super happy to have found this amazing clinic in Chilliwack.

Very wonderful vet. Trimmed my kittens claws with ease. Was very friendly and good to him. Will definitely take him here again regularly for grooming or check ups.

Would definitely recommend this clinic. They were the only vet willing to come to us as our dog was not able to be moved. Very compassionate staff and doctors. They were kind and gentle with our dog, and accommodating for us. Thank-you for making a difficult situation as peaceful as possible.

We moved to Chilliwack 6 years ago and have been searching for a vet clinic that is as good to us as our previous town, I do believe that Dr.K at Vedder mountain vet clinic is the one! The clinic staff are very caring, very polite, very helpful and this clinic is exceptionally clean. In the past few months we have had a very sick kitty and now a sick dog and DR.K has gone above and beyond for both of my animals and I’m very grateful for that. Tyrone is fantastic at submitting my insurance for me as well. Great job to everyone I have dealt with so far! Tammy M

What an awesome experience I had at Vedder Mountain Veterinary Clinic. All of the staff, from reception to the vet techs to the Doctor were amazing. We recently moved to the area and hadn't had a chance to find a vet yet, so when our cat got sick suddenly today and no other vets in the area were able to help, Vedder Mountain stepped up, squeezed us in and gave exceptional service. They are kind, compassionate and very thorough. No unnecessary charges either. So happy we found them and that we have an awesome new vet for our cat. Also, super convenient to where we live. My sincere gratitude to the entire staff at Vedder Mountain Veterinary Clinic!
