★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Considering my cat just had surgery this morning he is recovering nicely. When the vet tells you she is thinking about the surgery the night before, then you know she cares. I won't know what the growth is that was removed from my sweet cat's head today, but he was taken very good care of and is now in recovery, calm, eating and his mother couldn't be happier. (Around Xmas 2016) (Munsch went over the Rainbow Bridge Jan. 3, 2019. Our vet came to our home with an aide and with a dear friend, we bid this four-legged furry angel farewell. After 18 1/2 of companionship, I will miss him dearly. I highly recommend having this done at home. Munsch's time had come & I am very grateful to Cottonwood Vet Clinic & the beautiful card they sent me afterwards. This still makes me weepy.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I started going taking my dogs to Dr Salendar and Dr Maarhuis when I first moved to Chilliwack 8 years ago. I have owned and bred American Bulldogs for just over 10 years now so a good relationship with my vet is very important to me. I can always get in when I need to and they have always offered to help with anything I need. They are very thorough with inspecting my puppies before they go to new homes, and implanting them correctly with microchips so they do not migrate. All my dogs have always enjoyed coming here and the puppies enjoy terrorizing the office. Also whenever I need any paperwork they get it to me promptly. We will still continue to go to this vet even though we moved to Abbotsford a few years ago :)

They take amazing care of all my girls.
My cat recently had an accident and needed to be rushed to the vet and they took her in and they fixed her injuries and because of them she is doing very well now. I’m very happy with my experience and highly recommend them to anyone with fur babies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT WASTE YOU MONEY WITH THIS VET OFFICE I took my dog to get a follow up vaccine 1 month later and told them I had 1 question about his runny eyes that started after he received the vaccine. All I wanted was to know if that was a possible side effect. THEY CHARGED ME FOR A FULL EXAM!! EVEN THOUGH HE JUST HAD A FULL EXAM A MONTH AGO AND HIS HEALTH IS FINE!!!! So be WARNED, if you have a simple question they will charge you $116!!!!! WE WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS VET!!!!! ohh and to that response, you gave, that is not true!! Your office never explained that I would be charged for a full appointment. After I said I have a quick question if the vaccine could be related to the runny eyes, you automatically assumed that I wanted a full appointment and never explained that I would be charged!!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used this vet three times and will never return. The vet I had the first time left. The other vet did unnecessary tests and medication. On the check up they of course found more things to charge for and over another 350 dollars later my dog came out after I heard her screaming in the back and her ears were all bruised and bloody after they cleaned and plucked her ears. My dog is traumatized now. I sent email with photos of her ears and no phone call nothing. They didn’t care and never followed up. Obviously I am going to a new vet that is much better. I don’t recommend taking your animals here especially if they are small dogs. No one ever contacted me via phone or email. I was also given antibiotics and I was wondering why I ran out so thankfully I called the office and they told me they forgot to tell me that once I finished the first round I had to come back and buy more. This was never communicated to me and either was the price of the antibiotic being charged to me twice. I would have expected that my dog not be terrified and injured. No one from your establishment has ever reached out to me even after my review and your response.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We brought our dog here for an emergency visit they were able to sneak us in for. We weren't from the area. I was worried about our dog and showed up early. They allowed me to leave her in their care until the appointment. I waited outside and came back in at the time of the appointment.
They had already had a look over her, determined the issue, and offered 2 solutions.
After all of this i received an invoice significantly cheaper than I was expecting. In addition to an extremely reasonable charge I was greeted by friendly staff and a wonderful vet.
Our dog has made a full recovery. I cannot say enough about my experience and would recommend if you're looking to go here, based on my experience, I highly recommend it.
