★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Water randomly shuts off without ANY notice. How is one supposed to shower and get ready for work/school? Pretty inconsiderate. Even if its an emergency some sort of notice needs to be given. Honestly, every other week there is something about this building that ruins the experience of living here. For the price, it should be alot better. This just confirmed we will be moving out as soon as our lease is up. Will never live in a boardwalk building again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved staying here. Apartment building is well kept as was our unit. Staff was incredibly friendly and warm, as are people who live in the building. Not to mention all amenities are close by and Varsity is a well developed community so lots of big trees and green grass.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I do transitional work and have lived in many apartment buildings in my career. This building is the best thus far! Staff are extremely professional, repairs are done in a timely fashion, the cleaning and maintenance staff are friendly and efficient. All the staff take pride in the building. It is extremely well maintained. My 8th floor apartment was warm in the winter and always quiet. Always. It's a friendly building. People speak to each other in the lobby and the elevators. You get the picture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed in varsity square for one year and my experience was amazing. This place is very economical with all the utilities included, nicely maintained and wonderful staff. It is kind of place which one will definitely miss after leaving. I had no issues with my apartment in one year. They regularly maintain their property and give notice well in advance. This place is easily accessible with public transport and located near marketplaces. I would highly recommend this property to those who plan to rent an apartment in Calgary. I came to know that many people are living here for years and now I can understand why?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a young immigrant family with two little kids we moved to this building after many short term stays. Then we got pleasantly stuck to this apartment for 4 1/2 years. We were interested in the building because it was conveniently located near schools, malls, Walmart, coop and Safeway. Our kids walked to school and made lots of friends of their age in the building. In summer, the kids were able to play in the field all day next to building without being stuck at home. The building also had a gym and swimming pool. Overall, it was a wonderful stay!
In my opinion, this is an excellently manged facility. The building is well lit in the corridors and very clean. During our stay, we had minimal maintenance issues in our apartment and whenever we had one the maintenance team was only just a phone call away and repairs were done immediately. All the staff both office and housekeeping staff were always smiling and projected a homely feel. I would like to specially mention about Abiy and Aby (office staff who were friendly, upbeat and ready to help whenever I met them), Yohannis (housekeeping staff who was infectiously upbeat, friendly and sincere), Dwayne (maintenance staff, he was cheerful even when he came to our apartment at midnight to repair a clogged drain). I am very sure Boardwalk must be having a very humane work culture in place that is exhibited by its employees. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay memorable stay!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apartments are terribly terribly over heated. Have spoken with multiple residents having same issue on my floor. Maintenance never showed up when they said they would. People in office are very friendly but actually getting a hold of anyone or your calls returned seems impossible. Thought being a cement building it would be quiet but garbage trucks come every single day mon-friday (extremely unnecessary, they've come twice in one day and emptied the exact same empty bin..) and there's always someone outside with a leaf blower doing literally nothing, or sweeping the parking lot . Been extremely difficult working from home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I lived in a 3 bedroom suite here for 1 year, unfortunately had to end my lease for personal complications, but absolutely loved my stay here. Abiy and Shairin in the front office were always professional, incredibly helpful and accommodating for me whenever i needed anything from them. Maintenance requests (the few that were made) were addressed promptly and professionally. Efforts were always made to keep the common areas clean, and the amenities were great. I loved using the pool and gym! Would definitely consider living here again in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am just arriving Canada. This is my first rent. Just like what I saw in the face time. A beautiful and neat apartment. Abiy and Shairin helped me a lot. They are nice and warm. I enjoy stay in there. In addition, pet friendly apartment is suitable for my family. My cat loves this place too.
