I like the people and the bank itself is great. Invest in more tellers closer to closing time. I get off work early to come and do any banking I need to do and you always have a line up out the door at 4:30. More tellers as closing time please.

Shout out to the Guildford Branch for the great customer service and overall experience! The representative that I had dealt with was absolutely fantastic. He was empathetic to my concerns and dealt with the situation in a professional manner. I truly appreciate the time that was taken to ensure my issue was resolved. Thank you!

Totally unprofessional staff. They seem like illegal workers with low pay rate or perhaps cash. some one need to look in to this and train them well and teach them some Canadian customer service manners. Even the senior manager assistant instead of calling his employees to office and teach them some oppppp I guess he doesn’t know himself calling me ( the customer to his office to see him) really. What a joker find a work in a circus don’t think this is for you

Have been with Vancity for 35 years and over 20 years with this specific branch, lineups have been getting steadily longer and longer, but the staff are great! Management doesn’t seem to get it even after so many complaints, they want bigger profits by cutting down staff, whereas all the other banks like Canadatrust etc are constantly improving their services, even open Sundays! Vancity is a credit union but now it’s worse than the big banks since all they think about is profit! Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, avoid the long lineup!

Tried calling the Guildford branch to set up an appointment and there was absolutely NO option to speak with s human being. Imagine the frustration for an elderly person trying to do this! Not every customer is a 20 year old with a smartphone so C'mon Vancity lets have some humans on staff ok??!!

Adam Olgui was amazing at helping us setup accounts. He was thorough, knowledgeable and very friendly. I highly recommend to see him. We had great experience here.

I usually cling to my choices, yet not anymore after my instance to open an account with Vancity. Now I understand why people advise to not join this bank. Shortly, I bought euro from them for 1.54 CAD to outgoing wire bur my money got rejected on the other side bank for unknown reason, so my money came back back the staff decided to convert them to from Euro to CAD in 1.35 rate even without telling me this rate. I lost 430 CAD between their converting. I tried to contact them but their answer was this isn’t our problem, the other bank rejected them so we bought them from you even though we sold them to you for huge gap difference. They don’t care about the clients. Really disappointed I arranged with my family to move to a different bank as soon as possible.

Long wait time here and worst in-bank wait time of the 3 banks l deal with.... When I arrived at the branch there were only 2 people in the teller line in front of me. It took 22 minutes to finally see a teller. only 2 tellers at the windows and lots of other staff around in other offices. The lineup got longer as I waited and eventually they had people lined up outside. Fortunately the teller that helped me with excellent and got me out fast.
