What is going on with you guys? The starsta fee has been almost doubled??? Because of Covid 19 you guys shut down the gym and all the public indoor spaces which i get it but why the heck would you increase the fees as doubled during this whole pandemic???? For what though? I am genuinely curious at this point I canโ€™t pay over 500 dollars for every months for the strata fee? Nonetheless you guys did NOT give us a notice of increasing the strata fee this time!

Have a tenant below that smokes way too much and is breaking bylaws. Have been battling with the strata manager to get something done with little updates. Just keep getting told council is reviewing but that shouldn't take months. Also had a pest control problem that they sent someone to deal with but failed to tell me what day they were coming so I wasn't home from work. They also did a building inspection that deemed my door handle to not be the proper style and gave me a month to change it or I would get fined. To this day I walk down the halls and see several people's units who haven't complied and nothing is getting done. Everything seems to be an uphill battle, poor communication as well.

Horrible horrible company. They bullied an owner into paying for water damage due to a burst pipe UNDER her floor, in between one unit and the other. They forced her to pay for ALL damages, even though strata law in BC is that the strata company is responsible for all pipes in common property, including under floors and in walls. How is an owner supposed to know to check pipes unless they tear the floor and walls apart?? She's a young single mother who just wanted to sell her place and the only way they would allow her to do that was to pay $15000 for something that should have been their responsibility. Stay far far away from this company. They are backhanded and crooked.

They increase strata fees like crazy and strata manager is not helpful!. Just an advice if you are buying a townhouse make sure strata is not Davin Management. There is karma though. I hope youโ€™ll feel good about yourselves representing Davin.

Do not buy into a complex that is managed by this company. They are shady, unprofessional and will fine you for their mistakes. They do not care when issues are brought up. There are many other negative reviews. My hope is that they will be out of business if they don't change the way that they run their company.

Strata management companies provide administration services: accounting, banking, paying invoices, resident correspondence, etc. Strata councils make decisions: what repairs are made, what the strata fees are, enforcement decisions, what contractors to hire, etc. Most one star grievances in these reviews are regarding strata council decisions and not strata management services. Not taking the time to understand the basic structure of a strata corporation makes the reviewers appear to be ignorant. We've had Davin Management for 8 years at our complex and they provide good administrative services at a reasonable price.

Extensive follow-up is required with all Strata managers. Very negligent, uncooperative, and unfriendly service (especially with Leah Booth). We've had molding in our ceiling due to issues with the exterior enveloping of our roof. An unqualified contractor only completed a temporary fix and we were promised by Davin Mgt that a return visit to remedy permenantly would be made (that was over a year ago). We've been left with fixing the damages inside the property that are increasingly getting worse. They should be sued for theft of all their clients and properties they "manage". If ZERO starts was an option, I would give it without hesitation.

Property owner here. my tenant submitted a written response regarding a noise complaint that was unsubstantiated by th ecomplainant. Took months before the coucil replied and even longer for them to clear the allegation. This management will only initiate communication with residents when they are collecting some sort of fees. Will find petty and trivial problems to fine you with in the hopes you will not submit a writen response and just pay the fine. I have worked with many strata managements, this one cause me the most headache. Horrific service; unhelpful to say least.
