D	Da Hl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited and tried Filipino Food buffet for the first time with a friend this weekend. Restaurant clean, service fine, but food not good. Fried chicken was just fried batter and skin, no meat. Other dishes were what seemed like mostly fatty leftover from a butcher's table. Overly salty and sour. Selections did not represent the photos on the sign outside.

All the mystery meat items tasted strange and looked like the parts of the meat that you would throw out. Nothing like the pictures on the sign outside. Looked like reheated food and not fresh at all. Greasy, too salty...not worth it. I don't understand all the positive reviews, I believe they are all friends and family from the Filipino community.

Food is great tasting, serving is much larger than I expected and it also came with a free soup. Service is great and friendly. We will come back soon to try their lechon belly and other foods because they have so much on their menu like foods you find back home in the Philippines that will definitely satisfy your cravings.

There's some things that could be worked on, but thats understandable for them having been opened a couple weeks. It would have been nice if there was serving spoons with the food but thats alright. We did get our cutlery after the food had arrived. Just may need more staff on hand for the amount of people in the resto. The food. If you can't cook filipino food for yourself, I'd say give this place a try. We were asked if the food was okay at the end of our meal, and yeah it was just that, it was okay. I wish the porchetta had been ready but it was done once we had finished our meal. We ordered my fave, kare kare, sisig, tortang talong, and spring rolls. None of the food was bad, it was okay. My favourite thing on our table was the tortang talong tbh. My mom asked why I ordered that and lumpia. And honestly I said, cause if that ain't good, nothing else will be. I would come back to try the silogs. Though if it was just lunch/dinner, I'd make the drive to Scott Road. I won't name that resto but ya'll should know hehe. If you're craving filipino food and live in the area, defo give Jav's a try.
M	Maja Pascual on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 stars coz the service was amazing and the food is the yummiest Filipino resto that i have tried all around lower mainland on top of a very reasonable price for their all you can eat. Make sure you go hungry and have the intent to fill your belly. It was worth the drive??
A	Andrew on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Underwhelming is the first thing that comes to mind. Came here for buffet on a Friday night, only 1 other table was here. The food did not taste very good, everything seemed like it sat out too long. The reason I give this 2 stars is because the gentleman greeted us and was very helpful. Great staff, not so great food for buffet. If I come back, I would give ala cart a try, that way the food is made to order.
