★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found this gem through Instagram. Nanay's Kitchen is truly good Filipino comfort food! Their photos on instagram are truly what you see is what you get. I ordered Palabok and Gulaman very easily on their website and got a tracking number that I could follow on Shop app. The food was packaged well for transit and I got free delivery to Richmond. The flavors are authentic! I love palabok and theirs satisfied my cravings! The palabok also included calamansi, the real deal, and enhanced the flavors (think Ratatouille, when the food critic was amazed)! Although the delivery was a few minutes late, their driver got a bit lost, they communicated that with me via email and it was worth the wait! I can't recommend this place enough! If you've never had authentic Filipino food, this is a must try! Can't wait to try more from their menu!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered $250 worth of food for a feast for 8 people and we had it last night. I fullly agree with the other reviews that this place is a true gem of a restaurant. The platters of food that you get are nothing short of amazing in quality, display, and overall the flavour was exquisite. Everyone truly enjoyed themselves and we will never forget this place! We are absolutely guaranteed to come back and as the food was so delicious that we must have more! I also want to thank Abby, whom I spoke to on the phone a few times about my order and she was very sweet and friendly! She said she was escited for us and that we'll have a wonderful feast for sure which I totally agree with as there were lots of leftovers for the next day! Thank you, Nanay, keep it up!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am by no means a Filipino food connoisseur, nor am I Filipino, but I do know good food and good people, and trust me, Nanay Kitchen is both. I've had a good selection of their food offerings and have never been disappointed. The balance of sweet, savoury, and acid (usually from their dipping sauces) is just superb. Abby does a phenomenal job with the food and she's a lovely person to talk to. Would highly recommend this family owned, women-run restaurant.
