He came to my house and quickly serviced both my fridge and dishwasher. He was very knowledgeable and happy to answer all my questions. Overall it was an excellent experience and I will definitely call him with any of my future appliance needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My oven temperature yesterday was way out of line. When I had the dial at 550 the oven was at 360 (had a separate oven thermometer)
. Phoned Vancity Appliance Service and spoke to Zach. He suggested that I turn off the power for 40-60 minutes and then return the power - he said sometimes these Bosch ovens just need a reset - I did as suggested and the reset seems to have cleared up the issue - I will definitely call VAS for future issues - they are honest and professional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a really great experience with this company. Not sure if it is a father-son thing, but both of the men were very friendly and respectful of the space.
My washer had stopped spinning and I emailed them which then they called me by the next day to arrange a time that day to come by. They said they would be here between 1 and 3 and they showed up in that time. I had previously said the brand of washer that I had and when they showed up and took a look, they immediately knew the issue and had preemptively brought the part that was probably broken. This was great because it meant everything was fixed by the end of their visit. The entire visit was roughly one hour and after that I had a working washer.
The issue was related to pads that are around the motor.
I am not very experienced in prices for these things, but parts and labour came out to around $250. I do not know if this is a fair price or not. Seemed reasonable to me though.
I would use this company again in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This may be a long review. I think it gives an indication of Zachary's thoroughness and dedication. I told Zachary my concerns with the washing machine over the telephone. When he arrived he assessed and explained the temporary solution and permanent solution to the cause of my concerns. When I expressed a preference for the latter, he indicated he had come to an opinion before he came over and had researched the availability of what would be the needed part if his opinion was correct. There was one available in all of Vancouver/Richmond. Yikes. He ordered the part while standing next to the washing machine. I declined his offer that he do the work after driving to Richmond and back because that would bump into dinner plans at our place. We arranged for a time the next day: Saturday between 5:30 to 7:00 pm. The man must work long days. He called me Saturday morning because he had earlier availability. He arrived at 12:30 with a co-worker. They quickly opened the washing machine to replace the part. They tested and confirmed the fix. They even offered to put my dryer back; I had moved it out of the way to ensure easy access to the washer. He was thorough and professional.
