I love Value Village I just wish they reduced prices and offered more benefits to regular customers. This one is decent but Penticton is better, friendlier staff and more organized store and Penticton provides boxes

Since Covid they lost their changerooms....... More profits with less staffing. With no one working the changerooms you would think they may have extra staffing on registers. Think again. Chronically understaffed. Prices rising.

First time to value village and I am telling you - the worst experience EVER. Do not go to this store ... EVER. MY friends and I went today to find clothing for a fashion show my school is putting on for graduates. What started as a fun day, going thrifting, ended in tears. We spent almost 2 hours there, just looking at clothes and accessories hoping to find something we could use. These people are rude, unreasonable, and RACIST. When my friends went to purchase their items, the employees ... JOHN ... was acting so tense and weird - long story short, he had one of his employees aggressively scan through the tags on the clothing, and with as much hostility as she could said, "You changed the priced tags on all these items. Get out of MY store right now or I'll call the cops". What the actual heck? My body went cold and my head started hurting. She was actually accusing us of trying to rip them off. NO, she didn't even hear us out. She ... THEY were aggressive, and treated us so inhumanely, that it makes me sad that there are still people out there in the world like this. I am telling you, even if we would have tried to reason with them - they looked on the verge of grabbing us by the arm and dragging us out. The quality, presentation, and people of VALUE VILLAGE are inexcusably the worst place anyone will ever step foot into. There really is no 'Value' in the title. You have ruined my day and my thoughts of this unestablished place. I have never felt so hopelessly helpless or voiceless - SHAME ON YOU. Negative 100 star review

I was in there last week and spent $100 and they wouldn't give me the 30% off discount they had advertised even though I'm registered but they did not send me the email. They couldn't have looked this up?? I even showed the cashier I was signed up but didn't get an email. Won't shop there again because of this. Very dirty store as well. They put absolutely anything and everything out on the floor no matter the condition of it. Can almost buy new from Winners for the same price of clothes here!!

Although the staff is friendly, the items are horrendously overpriced. Jeans are easily over $15 and most dresses are in the $20-25 range! If you’re extremely lucky you can find an item decently priced, but I wouldn’t even bother to look.

I went into the Kelowna Value Village with my daughter for the first time in a long while. She picked up a few items and I grabbed a couple and then we went looking for the fitting rooms. But there aren’t any! According to one of the staff “we haven’t had any since Covid”. So I asked if they now give $$ refunds instead of store credit as there’s no opportunity to try anything on. Of course not - we’ve never done that” I was advised. In my past experiences with buying clothes at Value Village it usually took many trips to the change room to find something that fit. So now you have to drive home, try everything on, bring back what doesn’t fit for store credit, find more clothes, then start the cycle over. Not happening. I won’t be shopping there again going forward and I will also be giving my donations to other organizations. Gave a rating of 1 star because zero isn’t possible.

Chaotic yet reliable, as in there's always an odd selection of folk there but there's always some interesting stuff as it is the biggest thrift store around. It's nearly always a bit busy, but not overly packed. Good selection of clothes, not so much old electronics which is slightly disappointing.

I no longer shop at this terrible establishment for a few reasons. Value village pays absolutely no attention to the quality of the clothing they’re selling, whether it’s stained, ripped, dirty, or falling a part. All they do is look at the label and if it’s says “Lululemon” or “Nike” it’s getting a 20 dollar price tag. These are second hand and possibly third hand items you guys are selling. Even clothing from Walmart which everyone knows is fairly inexpensive, and usually between the 5-15 dollar range, value village has the audacity to put THE SAME PRICE on these items.. for used clothing. It’s disgusting and I refuse to spend my money here. Go spend your money at Salvation Army or MCC thrift. They have honest prices compared to Value Village. Value village is just a big corporate scandal out to steal your money. There is no value here.
