C	Christine Nowe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived at appointment time, she locked the doors infront of us, closed the lab early and would not honor our appointment. What a terrible thing to do to a small child. Awful lab, awful staff
J	Jason on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time visit: There was no wait line outside of the lab upon arrival. Easy-to-follow directions on the outside of the door. The friendly staff were prompt to greet me at the front door, asked a series of Covid questions, and sat me in a process room. The overall lab looked tidy, up-to-date and clean. The process was quick and simple! My only zonk is that the garbage can in the process room was open with no lid on top, and could see the inside contents from previous patients. Still recommend ?

N	Norman Charles Bogyo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was directed by Valley Medical Staff over phone to enter from Capri Street entrance as it is "supposedly" shorter distance from entrance to the actual office Upon arrival I did not see the main entrance as it is hidden under a large parkade cover. I asked a bystander and they directed me to where the entrance was. I had already parked and was quite a ways from the entrance. I walk on two canes and it was a scorcher of a hot afternoon. Once in the building all was fine. I did not see any signage or markings on the Capri Street entrance indicating that Valley medical was inside. Not good. The staff was great on arrival, Did my bloodwork and vamous. I will go back to this location as you can make an appointment here and that is a good thing. Signage at east entrance could be much better. Upon leaving I surveyed the disabled parking and there are lots of spots painted disabled right in front of the entrance. The male staff member on the phone should have told me that. I told him I was disabled and walk on canes. I find staff are not trained to take into consideration " Parking and access" for their clients. Its the same everywhere. Isnt it Alex ? by the way it looks more or less equi-distant from entrance on Gordon Drive to Valley medical and the entrance on Capri Street and Valley medical. The staff member in question needs to have a walk about at his place of employ before he gives directions ! I hope he is not a pilot ! ncb Kelowna BC

The girls on the phone said they are all booked up today so I’ll have to call again tomorrow. I asked why I can’t book it and how this is good for patient care. She hung up on me. All I need is a blood test.
S	Sam Westfall on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Valley medical labs is literally the worst laboratories in the province! It’s sad that they are the only ones to get lab work done. I understand that due to road closures you can’t send out blood but call people who have appointments. Especially here at Capri where you only accept appointments. It would have been nice to get a simple phone call, ask what blood work I need then tell me they can’t send it out today. I take time off work to get my labs done and lose pay. Extremely disappointed in the Okanagan medical system, I am constantly running into issues.
S	Scott on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t get your blood work done here - inefficient, unprofessional and unprepared. Be ready to wait, they’re at least twenty minutes behind before they even open the doors. Doctor told me o don’t have to fast just no caffeine. The lab said because I had a granola bar they wouldn’t do my blood work. I explained to them what I was told by my family physician and they still said no. The other two times I went (and waited) I didn’t fast and there wasn’t an issue. Don’t get your blood work done here.

S. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They threw away the faxed paperwork from my doctor as it was over 3 months (it takes over a month to book an appointment with them as they are booked solid) and made me call my doctor so he could fax it over again (my doctor's office was closed) . The next patient after me had the same issue with "lost" faxed paperwork. Our amazing "free" health care at work. Otherwise when they can find the faxed paperwork they are able to take blood and urine efficiently.
