Best Gourmet grocery store in Canada

A	Andrew Harmon (Werd69) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice market place. They have cooked food, a bakery, a cheese area and groceries. They have tables and chairs you could sit at to eat if you choose to. It gets crowded. People seem to go there after work to get something to eat quickly.

I am from Europe and went to the store, was curious about the products and brands we do not have in Germany. So I was strolling through the aisles, took my time and was looking around when I quickly recognized someone is looking at me like I was looking at the groceries. The security lady has been following me from aisle to aisle and when I looked at her she looked away like a non professional. I realized quickly what’s going on here, felt kinda unwell and when someone from the supermarket staff asked her something, she pointed with her finger on me. Bye! I was really willing to buy something but with this behavior, no thank you! Take your job serious but not too serious to let people feeling unwell like a criminal.

We bought some sirloin yesterday, pulled it out of the fridge today before dinner and gave it a quick sniff. It's already funky smelling and this is the second time this has happened with the packaged beef at this location. It's supposed to go bad on the 6th, that was 3 days after the day we bought it. We got 2, both smelled weird!! We buy beef frequently so we know when beef smells weird. Why does this happen to the packaged stuff but not the beef we get over at the counter?? That was $20 straight into the garbage. I know beef can get discolored sometimes, that's fine, that's not what this complaint is about. Both pieces smelled off the day after purchase, 2 days before posted expiry date.

The service was prompt and courteous. And the food - it's had to get it wrong for fry eggs, toasts and coffee! The open early at 7am. Recommended!

Great location, convenient underground parking, huge grocery and produce selection. Warm and tasty meals at reasonable prices vertually all day. The in-store Starbucks next to the Bakery section makes it easy to take out your favorite coffee and pastry. It is a pleasure to shop here.

In addition to gourmet groceries, they have hot food bar at this location, as well as really well priced gourmet pizzas by weight (salmon pizza as well!) and a large seating area indoors and outdoors. Limited tables indoors during the current lockdown. Amazing upscale vibe store with delicious food. Gets a little busy during lunch hours, but frees up a bit after around 2 pm. Free wifi.
