Lots of fresh produce and prepared foods. Lower floor has a bakery and cosmetic section while upstairs is the supermarket and food court. The food court area has affordable cheap eats too.

This is my closest Korean grocery store so have visited this store a couple of times and frankly it is definitely not my favourite Asian store. They do flyer promotion every weekend so couple of things are on sale but those items are not stocked (even when I visit on Friday) and still the prices remain high. The produce is of questionable freshness and you really have to choose well. The kimchi is always super ripe and old. The checkout people are always sullen. Finally the kimchi fried rice was the worst I’ve had. This h mart is not comparable to h mart in USA.

Old man/janitor needs to learn some respect. He was very rude when speaking with us. He needs to understand that friendly customer service is how you retain your customers. H-Mart should train this old man to treat the customers with kindness. The foods I've tried at the food court are okay. The pork cutlet Bento tastes good but the fried items are soggy. The spicy soup with noodles and bean sprout is bland. Definitely overpriced for food that doesn't even taste good. The actual supermarket portion of the store is normal. It's a good place to find unique Korean or Asian snacks. Most items are more expensive here than you would find at T&T. I believe H-Mart is still worth checking out. Overall, I like the supermarket part but this old man really ruined my perception of the store. He made me feel unwelcome here even though I've been here on many occasions. I would like to see some improvements. H-Mart, you can do better.

Came by at 7 pm on a Sunday and the pre-made food selection was sparse (and their H-Mart food counter closed). Picked up a couple of remaining bento boxes and a deep fried california roll. The boxes (pork cutlet and tteok galbi) were tasty enough and filling, with a variety of items for $11.99 each. The deep fried california roll was something new for me, the exterior was quite soft with the sauce layered on top, but texturally it was a nice contrast. Will hopefully stop by earlier for their kimbap selection on another visit!

As talked to a Foodie friend about Korean foods the night before, I felt craving for K-foods today and I went to the H-mart in downtown to refill some Korean spicy noodles and had a late lunch there. This restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of H-mart with some Window seats. You can call this place a mini-foodcourt with ample of choices for Korean dishes. I am a K-foods lover. Before I arrived Vancouver, I dined out for K-cuisine frequently in Hong Kong and the K-foods are often quite pricey but not value for money. I have been to H-mart several time and I didn’t have much expectation on the food stall inside the supermarket, but surprisingly the quality was good and the portion exceeded my expectation in terms of price. I ordered Stone pot BBQ beef with beansprouts and glass noodles and Sweet and Spicy fried Chicken (small size). The stone pot BBQ beef tasted authentic (I could see the chef and servers are all Koreans). It would be better if there were more beef and glass noodles. It came with rice and Kimchee. The sweet and spicy fried chicken was crispy and delicious. Small size portion was not small for one person and I didn’t waste any foods. :) For the environment and service perspectives, the place was not crowded. It was tidy and having good air ventilation. The server was polite and helpful. I had a very stuffed stomach and good experience here.

They have lots of imported products. I would say the main variety is candies and chips (snacks). On the first floor is located the bakery. They have cute birthday cakes and mini cakes or slices as well. Sometimes they also have roasted sweet potato. It is so good with coffee. Behind of the bakery there is a little store where you can find cosmetics and cute stuffed animals. The second floor is the mini grocery area an the large snack corner with lots of imported products. There is also a food court. I didn't try any food from there.

If you want fast and cheap Korean food then check out the mini food court upstairs in the Hmart. It was so good and the portion was surprisingly big for Korean food. The seafood pancake was a hit and I love black bean noodles. The flavours hit the spot.

Quite pricey but can’t complain since it is right the downtown Vancouver and pretty easy accessible from public transit. Used to love their food court items but food quality def going downside. Won’t recommend coming to eat here but shop here isn’t bad since they have a wide variety of Korean products to offer. Never find the cosmetic area staff disturbing or anything. Will stop by sometimes if I’m looking for Korean stuff.
