Terrible customer service. Terrible delivery service Never go to this store again. - The person who delivered my bed said something is missed for my bed platform and after 3 weeks and 100 times calling them, they said nothing is missed!(not able to use it) -delivered with some damages to the bed frame and our house! - delivered a wrong mirror and after three weeks, delivered a wrong mirror again!!! Now order again and have to wait for another 6 weeks(originally ordered in Fall 2021) Not acceptable at all Very disappointed Mobilia and EQ3 provide me the best delivery service so far. After 2.5 months they delivered the mirror and couldn’t install it properly…. The worst experience I have ever had in canada

EDIT: We just received a phone call from the manager @ the Kanata location. He has apologized for the delays & has confirmed that a reorder of our purchase would be the appropriate next step. I have adjusted my rating slightly taking this into consideration. We will await confirmation on paper/via email. Original post: We are so disappointed with our experience with this location of Upper Room. We ordered a custom reclining modular couch. Since the day it was delivered and set up (first week of January 2022) there have been known issues with it. To summarize: Either side of the cushion seams do not line up (very noticeable difference) and one side of the couch has significantly less stuffing in the seat cushion than the other. Upper room sent contractors to assess the unit back in February 2022 and they confirmed the issues we had pointed out. Since then we have not received any attempt from Upper Room to resolve the outstanding issues we have brought to their attention. We have expressed our dissatisfaction/our issues with the unit very clearly since the day it was delivered, and reached out a few times since its' delivery to get a resolution. We have given the store quite a bit of time to reach back out to us to make this right and resolve this but we still have not heard anything from them. For such a high ticket price item we expect and deserve much better QUALITY and SERVICE. It seems to us that Upper Room hopes that if they continue to ignore us, we will go away. This afternoon my partner called the location, to escalate things and speak directly to management. The individual who picked up the phone told us we would get a call back. After expressing how we have been continually ignored and asking for a direct number in case no one called us back, they refused to give us management's direct phone number. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING CUSTOM FROM THIS PLACE - any issues you might have will be ignored and you will be left with expensive furniture that isn't worth the price.

I ordered a table from this store last October and now I still haven’t received it! It has been delayed 3 times. Each time, I have to contact them to ask and wait for few days to receive a reply saying it had been delayed again and again and again. After you placed your order and payed the money, they couldn’t care you less! Now I really couldn’t believe that I will receive it in late March and I just want my money back. I contacted them to ask for a refund. Now one week has passed, no reply at all! I am extremely disappointed with this purchase. If you don’t want to waist your time waiting for your furniture forever! Don’t come to this store. I should have bought from Structube or somewhere else. At least they specifically show the estimated date of arrival on their website and communicate with customers actively.

We worked with Alyssa at the Kanata location and I can’t recommend her enough! She listened to every ask we had and found us a perfect couch. She was so patient with my indecisiveness and even showed us a virtual drawing of our space + couch to the correct dimensions to make sure we 100% satisfied. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I have been to both the Kanata and West Hunt Club locations over the past couple of years- it’s not often we meet helpful or even kind associates -until Alyssa D. Alyssa was lovely, attentive, and in under 7 minutes we had fabric material chosen for our swivel armchair. Talk about efficiency, professionalism, and talent. We’re excited to have our armchair in 6 months and working with Alyssa more than makes up for the wait time! The only reason why this review is not 5 stars is simply due to the fact that not every associate has the same kindness or will give you the same attention as Alyssa, in fact, it’s safe to say it’s quite the contrary (at either location). So if you’re looking for a designer who is honest, kind, and has an incredible eye for detail, Alyssa is your girl.

Way to go Alyssa! We presented Alyssa with a bit of challenge to find us a print we had seen previously in the store. We had just done a main floor renovation and we had seen the print when we were at the store purchasing a chair. We should have inquired that day but we did not and then, when we had decided that was the print we wanted, it was gone! We had lots of people looking for this print but no one found it. I thought I would come to the store and try once more and lucky for me - Alyssa greeted me and within a few hours she had found one for us. She kept on top of the issue for me and showed outstanding customer service. Well done Alyssa!

We were searching for a new coffee table with matching side table for a few weeks. I am glad that we went to Upper Room Home Furnishing in Kanata because we found exactly what we were looking for. Our sales representative, Kim Jamer, was a pleasure to work with and she helped us make our final decision. She was not your typical pushy sales person - instead, she just chatted with us to get to know us and find out what we were looking for. We shared a bunch of laughs and she really made the experience personal and fun. We love our new tables too!

I bought a couch and chair a few months ago and went back to get a footstool. This is custom-made item and there were no problems. The details of my past order were easily accessible in their system which made securing the right match of colour and style worry free. I was lucky to work with Kim Jamer both times. She puts no pressure, giving us lots of time to look around and decide what we want. And once we decide, she is super efficient with the paperwork. Very knowledgeable about fabric and style options, too.
