I've never been treated so well and so thoroughly by my doctor and nurses, the staff genuinely cares about everyone they're attending to.

Said online that it was open till 7pm on a Wednesday so took a cab there for a semi-emergency, but when I got there they were closed and having some kind of party. Waste of an $18 cab fare and ended up having to go to a different clinic. If it's closed I shouldn't find out only once I get there, especially when I've already spent money getting there.

Massive wait times, late doctors, and they always stop answering their phone lines well before they are closed.

Wonderful resource. The staff at this clinic are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A wide variety of services are offered, as well as supplies, and assistance for every step of your health concerns. The only issue I've ever experienced was the wait. The clinic often has very long wait-times (particularly over the summer when there are fewer staff members, and during exam season when everyone needs an appointment). Make sure to book as early as you can!

Bad availability for some health services. Got sick with the flu which messed up the scheduling for my 2 other appointments for another health concern. The problem is that the availability for appointment for these specific health concerns is almost only one day out of the whole week. The first time I called to reschedule the consultation appointment, the woman who spoke to me was very nice and told me to take care. Later during the following week, I called again because I had still not fully gotten better, but was slowly recovering. However, this time, a different woman who took the call was rude and laughed at me saying they don't want me there. If a patient of yours has been sick for over a week, you shouldn't have directly laughed in their face and said you don't want them there. I have been struggling with mental health issues on top of this flu in the middle of exam season which delayed these appointments. The last thing I needed was for someone to rudely laugh at me instead of just simply saying I should reschedule. A better way to go about it would have been, "we're sorry to hear that, we can reschedule your appointment" with a simple "take care". Probably new or just needed some sensitivity training. The people who I have had the most interactions with and found the most helpful from this clinic would be the psychiatric nurses, but it sucks that they're sessional. You essentially have to reintroduce yourself everytime for them to be able to help you with very personal issues.

Extremely poor availability. Once you finally get to see staff, they're helpful and kind but there's a ridiculously long wait. I've often had to get long extended emergency doses for medication because to get it refilled I had to wait for over a month to see a doctor. My partner had been waiting for weeks for an important appointment, but received an email it was cancelled, so she went about her day. Apparently, they had cancelled and rebooked it because of a glitch in the system, but the most recent notification was that it was cancelled. This caused her to miss the appointment, and the front desk told her it was her fault for not calling them to ask. When it comes to people's mental/physical health, those kinds of errors are totally unacceptable. They've had the Medeo system for months, and these issues are ridiculous

If you miss a phone call appointment they will charge you $30.00 I suggest everyone book appointments at a local walk in clinic. They do not charge for missed phone calls. I'm a student and it's crazy to make me pay $30 for a missed phone call that took up 1 minute of their time.

Waited 4 weeks for an appointment. Doctor was 20 mins late and clearly in a rush. After a hasty consultation she dashed out of the door faster than I could say goodbye. She didn't even say when I'd be able to pick up my prescription. Students are clearly not very valued here, as per UVic standards.
