Dr Walton and staff took great care and showed such kindness and humour when dealing with my daughter’s injury. Dr Walton followed up personally afterward and made our whole experience much less worrisome and stressful. Very grateful- thank you!

I'm usually one not to write bad reviews but this place does NOT care about you! I tried to get an appointment to see a doctor about getting some bloodwork done as a precautionary measure due to some family medical history and because I was hitting 30 and had never had any of this kind of work done before. I had to practically beg the staff to get a doctor to phone me and get a bloodwork requisition. The doctor said he or another doctor would call me back with the results. A month later I still had not heard anything back. I called the clinic (which was an ordeal in itself) and asked them why no one had got back to me yet on my bloodwork results. The lady that spoke to me was very rude and told me if the doctor had not gotten back to me it's because nothing was wrong. This despite the fact that the doctor assured me someone would discuss my results with me. I then asked if I could speak to the doctor to discuss my result and was told I would need to stand in line again to do that but to not bother coming into today because the were already full (the time at this point was about 9:30AM). Shame on you. This place should be called "North Quadra Urgent and Primary DOES NOT Care Centre"

These people are truly adaptable and amazing! They had to move in (perhaps temporarily?) with Esquimalt Primary and Urgent Care Clinic, a newly opened clinic at 890 Esquimalt Road, because their own quarters on Chatterton Way had been flooded. They must have been very stressed due to their move and yet they welcomed me when I arrived for my appointment, which was booked the same day I requested it (though I got the impression that it depends on what a person's stated condition is). Because Esquimalt UPCC is a brand new clinic, they were able to attend to me virtually right away. The nurses I saw were most efficient and empathic. Also, the woman on reception who booked my appointment couldn't have been more warm and helpful. I can't say enough about how great the experience was, especially since, due to Covid conditions, I had tried a couple of other clinics with no luck. I am impressed with both North Quadra and Esquimalt teams because they are obviously quickly learning how to share the space and co-exist, all the while still providing top-notch patient care.

During several visits last fall, the receptionist and nurses were very helpful despite a heavy workload. All three doctors I saw were very good, correctly diagnosing a kidney stone problem and possible infection, and taking time to answer all questions regarding treatment. On a visit for a second health issue, a skin cyst, the doctor was exceptionally helpful and empathetic, taking extra time to follow up on my prior visit and also thoroughly explain the condition.

Went in and never saw a doctor. The nurse diagnosed me and said I needed 5 days of antibiotics. She gave me enough for 2 days. No prescription because I never saw a doctor. When I called back to find out how to get the rest of my medicine, they said one would be faxed to my pharmacy. The prescription was for a different, stronger antibiotic. I had to get the pharmacist to call the doctor’s office to find out what was going on. I’m pretty sure it is illegal to prescribe medicine for a patient you have never even seen or diagnosed. STAY AWAY.

Everyone was very kinda and helpful. It’s always very difficult to get in to see my GP so I have found the clinic very helpful. The nurses, doctors, ambassadors, and receptionists were very cheerful and happy to help. Definitely a great place to go! 10/10 recommend!! ❀️

After calling around several medical clinics and two other urgent care centres, I was able to get in despite them being fully booked for the day, as I had a cut that may or may not have required sutures. The staff were so kind and the room was ready for me even though I arrived early. The nurse, Christine, was so sweet. She really helped keep me calm despite the fact that I was in a heightened state from what happened. Dr. Pickersgill was also so kind as well. I live in Vancouver and was heading home that evening, to add on to the stress and wish they were both here, as I have never experienced care like that before.
