I had a pretty decent meal here. The staff seemed nice and they had an intetesting and unique menu. The sausage was quite good. Perogies seem to be a popular choice here as well.

I actually went to Mundare sausage in the same building. Bought a few things. Love getting meats there because everything is very fresh. Wasn't very busy so lots of parking available in front of the building. Clerks are very helpful and courteous.

Uncle Ed's is a diner type style restaurant, that is bolted onto a deli where they sell sausages, pepperoni and other smoked meats. The service was friendly and quite quick for the most part, but nothing really stand out to me. The food was very average, I got the half plate with ribs. The ribs were dry, the cheese crepes, bun and perogy all looked and tasted like they were previously frozen and just reheated. When you go to a restaurant I would expect things to be made fresh, if it was just frozen I could have just purchased it from a freezer and made it at home for less cost. Overall this restaurant is average at the very best and I believe there is better options for this type of food elsewhere.

I ordered a full-sized meal: perogies, sour cabbage rolls, sausage, and crepes --- absolutely delicious ? great service to boot. It is super busy during the long weekends. You need to park elsewhere if you'd like to sit and eat. Sausage is the best -- hands down!!!

One of the best places for perogies at a decent price. Service style is very family oriented. In the same place, there's a mini grocery where you can buy the frozen or refrigerated food that they also serve in the restaurant. Their homemade pies are delicious. Can't go wrong with any of their menu options. They take cash, debit and credit.

First time at Uncle Ed's and had a great experience. Staff was friendly and food was great. Ordered the half meal which was more than enough for me. Highly recommend for great Ukrainian food.

Amazing experience at this restaurant - the perogies were amazing (onion and potato was my fave). It was packed when we came for lunch but the service was truly outstanding. Our waitress was well versed with the offering and provided great suggestions. She even brought out coloring books for our little one and kept her engaged. The Sundae was the icing on top. Highly recommended if you are in Edmonton!

Incredible service and meal at Uncle Ed’s. A true memory flash of how my hubby’s Grandma made it all. Fresh, filling and delicious food. The servers were all super and had colouring pages and scented crayons for the kids plus ice cream for dessert and goodie bags for Halloween! It’s as local as you can get - we will have to go more. The Happy Pop’s were also a blast from the past. Mmmmmmmm
