★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t recommend the place because of the posture of the staff, but it’s important to note that I wasn’t charged incorrectly as other reviews mention. I was charged as much as it was estimated.
The truck I got was a bit dirty and is old as all the u-haul trucks I guess.
The staff was not clear about the fees, didn’t remind me of getting a padlock or anything else that I could need. Not that is their obligation but that’s what I expected from good professionals. The place wasn’t busy so that’s not even an excuse.
At the end the guy looked me in the eyes and said: “I made you a favor, so now you please do me a favor and give us a good review”.
That was absolutely frustrating. He didn’t do me any favor, just a service and not even very well. Just “meh”.
One of the guys was more friendly but he seemed not to have much autonomy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rented a small 10' truck for a move out day.
The service at local store was fast and friendly staff.
The final price was beyond great - 43,00 for 8 hours rent (including gas) - if I had hired a moving company would've paid at least 400,00.
Absolutely a good deal. Will return if needed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truck was fine. Was deceived about the gas and how far the truck would go, and ended up leaving over $50 of gas in the truck that they would not reimburse. NOT ok!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most stingiest and smallest u-haul location j saw. We had online ordered for a truck, dollies and furniture pads. However, without any communication, the dollies and furniture pads were removed from order as this location was not having them. Also, it took a lot of time here in the queue which should have been much lesser especially for people like us who were in time for their appointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WARNING thieves and will give you a headache ⚠️ DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. THE LOCATION CHANGED MY 10 FT Truck to a cargo van while I was en route to the location. There was three perfectly fine cargo vans there when I got there at the end of the day. Owner / worker just wanted to make more on the truck mileage which is nearly double. I specifically told the worker there and I Recorded my conversation with him via a body cam. He tried to change the contract even though I thoroughly went over it with him and reviewed everything twice. A complete scam of a company. I had to get in contact with Uhaul Corporate which was a big headache to get the incorrect charges reversed. Uhaul admitted in the email that this location stole from me. Please avoid this location at all costs. They are trying to trick and steal from there customers. I warned you. There's also another uhaul connected to this one at 1455 gerard that has way worse reviews. Go someone else trust me.
The actual dealership is a complete mess as well. Dirty. Car parts everywhere

Reserved a truck 2 weeks in advance, asked for 2 dolly and a set of moving blankets. On the pick up day, no dolly was in sight and no moving blankets in the truck.There was also a parking ticket already on the windshield.
Called UHaul customer service, waited for about half hour, to explain the issues, they said the dolly can be picked up from another location 40 mins drive from this location!! This whole thing pushed my schedule by couple of hours let alone the additional cost. I went to a hardware store and bought one.
The location is dirty, literally no maintenance.
I’ve noticed double the charges that I was supposed to on my CC and still waiting for the adjustment. Never again! Rather paying more for better service rather than this s***show.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can't speak to the bad reviews, only used once and had a good experience.
$65 plus gas for a 10' for the day seems eminently reasonable. Blankets on request, team there took their time to help me. The space doesn't look like much but a) who cares?; and b) welcome to the East End baby.
