Great experience,for me being transparency worked so well!! I had all I.Ds. I used my visa, the help βž• understanding term/policies ? no problem with just 10bucks for insurance coverage i at that point had NO worries. My only wounder is my 115.00 paymen minis 29.00 rental should I get my rest of cash because it did not so up? On my credit ???... Or did they make up story about how messy it was? A 6Γ—8 trailer,easy to clean and still??? So ya other then that I plan to go back again in future ??... Ps lucky I can afford that loss??? If I was pour well..........ya

All the staff working very professional when dealing with my Inquiry the storage facility in this area very organized, clean free from dirt dust and I can tell that my belongings are Safe with this facility I highly recommended the employee working here as they know what they been doing and Very Professional will recommend this for sure for the future and I would liked to Commend that whoever is cleaning the storage units in this location is doing a Great job ? as soon as I entered its Very appealing Clean ,Presentable not Dusty at all and I can feel that I'm SAFE with this storage location HIGHLY RECOMMENDED U-HAUL DUFFERIN ..

Yet again, I made a reservation, recieved a confirmation call that everything is good with the booking, drive 40 minutes to pickup the trailer, and they don't have it available. Thanks U-Haul once again for screwing me over.

I ordered hitch and harness with installation for 7 pm . After arriving to the location and giving them details of my order witch I paid for already, I was informed that they can not do installation at this time and that they don't understand how I was even able to schedule it for this time . Well thank you Uhaul for wasting my time and gas and ruining all my plans . I will definitely look for different options before coming back to uhaul .

The facility, which was really still only in its first stages of repurposing reconstruction when I was moving in, has really taken shape. Yet, the work still goes on. If I can offer a word of advice: an accessible washroom for clients really is a MUST within the enclosure of the units Not everyone is handi-capable nor desiring to step outside (checking out in the process) in order to make use of the singular toilet available to clients who are visiting the office, which is open only a portion of the hours that clients are able to access the facility. The closing off of an ready functional lavat not very well thought-out in an area that offers no other toilet facilities within reach should clients find Nature's calling. U-Haul should rethink that plan to close off the toilet in the corner that they had had open during construction. If they do not, I know that my ability to stay with this particular Depot will not be possible in the long term and that may mean having to choose another company which would be a complete loss for U-Haul, something that they should consider before making flippant decisions based on ableist thinking.

We have rented trucks from the Regent location many times before and have always had a positive experience. Unfortunately dealing with the Dufferin location was the polar opposite of that. The day before our booking we received a call from U-Haul letting us know the truck we had booked at Regent was down due to a mechanical/snow issue, but they had the same truck ready for us at Dufferin and even got in front of the situation by offering a $50 inconvenience credit....great right? WRONG. After dealing with the single employee on site, who couldn't be bothered to wear a mask, even though the signs on the front door say mask mandatory, we were given the keys and told the truck was in the back. When renting a vehicle of this nature, it is not an unreasonable expectation that the vehicle be started and brought up to the front by staff, especially given how harsh this winter has been. Instead, we found the truck parked in a snowbank, behind the building, advertisements still in the windshield, looked like it hadn't been started in a week, no brush to clean it off and less fuel than indicated on the paperwork...who doesn't love starting a move with just over 1/8th of a tank of fuel? Next we arrive at our destination to find the rear door has been open the whole time, it's full of snow, the dolly and blankets etc are missing, and clearly someone has been hanging out in the back of the truck given the half full, frozen beverage containers present. The blizzard like conditions of the day are certainly not U-Haul's fault, once again however, you expect the equipment you are renting to be prepared and the 'next to bald' rear tires did not make the day any easier. Getting a 26' foot truck un-stuck, twice is an unwelcomed addition to any move. We attempted to phone the Dufferin location at 5:45 p.m. to let them know we were running behind and weren't sure if we would be back in time before they closed at 7:00 p.m., which yielded an auto prompt telling us the location was already closed. The unexpected early closure was further confirmed by the litter of trucks that were parked anywhere and everywhere when we did get back to the building to drop off. Attempting to use the after hours drop off website continually brought us to a dead link and to our final surprise, an after hours service fee charged promptly to our CC by Sunday morning. We have never been charged an after hours service fee before, even when dropping off after close, on the Saturday of a long weekend. As I write this review almost three weeks after the fact, we have been unable to get a hold of anyone at U-Haul head office, none of our correspondence has been returned and the cherry on top is that we still have not received our inconvenience credit that was originally promised. I wish I had more hands, so that I could give this experience 4 thumbs down.

I don't write reviews too often but I really wanted to thank Rupinder at U-Haul on Dufferin for such awesome service and help with our storage and U-Haul rental. Good service is seeming hard to come by these days but this was one of the nicest interactions we have had in a long time. Everything went so smoothly, Rupinder is excellent at his job and with helping people. The facility is very clean and so well maintained. Thank you for making a tough day so much easier!

Save your time go to any other location, a line of customers standing outside their store and no employee in site. We've been waiting over half an hour and I've never had such terrible service at a uhaul I'm definitely not coming back to this one.
