Incomparable customer service : From the moment I requested a quote TruExteriors demonstrated a high standard of quality and customer care. Right after their staff measured the bungalow and emailed a very detailed preliminary quote a love affair with this company developed. It was the first quote I asked for that showed on paper what materials were going to be used, besides the James Hardie board. Moreover, they took pictures and emaild me a mock up of how the house could look with the chosen material. That first contact, along with the first quote (mid range among 5 quotes) is what induced me to chose them to do the job. RIght after that, TruExteriors’ staff made an appointment to meet and talk about colour schemes. Their in-house designers were a dream to deal with, helpful and encouraging. With the colour chosen, they sent a final mock up of the project. Later, they make another appointment on location to walk with the operations manager so he can identify where the material and other odds and ends have to be placed. Soon after that, the company scheduled a time to begin with the project. I have to say that I changed the original request to include one inch outer insulation, roofing and all the outdoor stuff done, and still the quote was more than competitive ! Incomparable attention to detail : TruExteriors may as well have a ballet choreographer or an orchestra director. The communications and the dropping of materials, material container, portapotty, and the teams working on siding and roofing were poetry in motion. The teams are dedicated professional hardworking craftmen, respectful and agreeable. The operations manager was reachable all the time and drop by regularly to inspect the site and make sure everything was being done up to standard. He explained what was being done and what to expect next during the project. In other words, they really take you by the hand and walk you through the whole process. One great example of quality control : It was the operations manager who discovered issues with some windows installed five years ago by another company. That company connected with him and they talked about the issue. (BTW the window company fixed the issues after the siding was done.) My experience is that TruExteriors is a group of quality professionals that take pride on their jobs, whatever it is, administration, design department, operations and labour. Moreover, they care for their customer. They go above and beyond their project, delivering quality of material, quality of craftsmanship and quality of final product. Posting for Mary and Larry : Our experience with Tru Exteriors was better than I thought it would be. We had the full exterior redone with hardy board, including gutters and downspouts. Given it was such a big job, I was worried about my lawn and flower beds. The workers were all very conscious of where they placed their equipment and feet. They addressed all of my concerns immediately and were very polite, professional and respectful. Overall we are very pleased with the workmanship and quality of the finished product. We would recommend Tru Exteriors for anyone looking to have exterior work done on their home.

We used Tru Exteriors to renovate the exterior of our 100 year old home. We replaced almost all of our windows, the front and back doors, new Hardie board siding, and new fascia, soffit, and eaves trough. The work done was very quality and we are really happy with how everything turned out. The Tru team and various crews were nice and professional to deal with and responsive to questions and concerns throughout the process. They are also very on top of change orders and timely sign offs on additional costs, which after using a few different contractors on other projects I really appreciated. We took one star off because it was a pretty lengthy process, and with that there was a bit of up and downs with communication and timing of completion on the project. That said, there were a number of things that contributed to that, with some extra structural support work required on our very old house, a siding order mix up from the supplier, Christmas holidays, cold spells in February, etc. So in fairness, I’m not sure that is typical and could just be specific to the circumstances that happened on our project. At the end of the day the work done was very high quality which is the most important thing you want when ending a project, and we literally have people walking by in the neighbourhood commenting on how great the house looks constantly now.

Tru Exteriors was great to work with! They worked with us to make sure we stayed on budget but also got everything we wanted. They also went above and beyond to do little touches that I wouldn't thought of like touching up paint in areas while they had the scaffolding that I wouldn't be able to reach. They also enhanced the "framing" around my garage by upgrading the wood there to hardie board. End product I am extremely satisfied and happy with the outcome!

From the initial consultation through to the completion of our siding replacement project, the Tru team provided friendly, professional service. Any questions or concerns we had were promptly responded to. Our installer Oggy kept the site very tidy and was happy to answer any questions we had during the installation. I did a lot of research before choosing Tru Exteriors to repair our hail damaged home. All siding, soffit, fascia, trim, eavestrough/gutters, downspouts were replaced, it was a huge project. We went with James Hardie Cement Fiber siding (from original vinyl siding), and since Tru Exteriors is a "preferred installation company" for James Hardie Fiber Cement siding, we knew the job would be done in accordance to manufacturers specifications and we would not have any issues down the road with warranty. The whole experience from initial contact to final finished product was excellent. The whole team (Sam, Colin, Taryn, the installation crew and many more) really gave 110% to customer service, communication, and quality of work and really cared about the project. Any questions I had were addressed quickly and any customization I wanted done was completed with perfection. Care was taken to keep my property clean. I am very happy with the finished product and would definitely recommend Tru Exteriors to anyone looking to have any exterior work done on their home. Tru Exteriors replaced our Hardie board siding and trim over the winter. The entire team was exceptional including Colin, Doug, Chris and everyone we interacted with at the office. The team on site was professional, had a good eye for detail, and cleaned up each day. We had other contractors completing windows and cement who were delayed and Tru handled the delays with our happiness in mind and offered solutions that were workable with each disruption. We are very happy with the process and the finished product, highly recommend using Tru Exteriors!

After receiving quotes from three popular siding companies, my husband and I decided to hire True Exteriors to do a complete exterior renovation of our house during the summer of 2021. From start to finish, this company and it’s employees (Chris, Colin, Doug, Oggy and Matt) exceeded our expectations. The products they used were excellent quality and the warranty is second to none. We opted to replace our cedar siding with Hardie Board and we absolutely love it. In a matter of weeks, our dated 1970s home went from boring to stylish. I literally do not have one negative thing to say about this company and therefore they are more than deserving of this five star review.
