Contrans Flatbed Group is the Ontario-based division of the larger flatbed operations of Contrans Incorporated and is the result of the amalgamation of Laidlaw Flatbed, L.A. Dalton, Hopefield Trucking, and LCI. Our terminals are conveniently located in Hagersville, Mississauga, Guelph, Oshawa, Kemptville, Windsor, and Beloeil, PQ.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I was driving down the 417 east in Ottawa. I was in the second from left lane doing about 95kmh. One of Tri-Line's flatbed trucks was carrying an oversized load. He didn't signal and cut me off. Forcing me to slam my breaks, and hoping I didn't get rear ended. I drive a small nissan versa which didn't compare in size to the truck. After he was in my lane, I saw why he cut me off, it was because a senior citizen was driving slow and he didn't want to be behind them. Definitely not a reason to put my life in danger. I tried calling the company and they have no one to speak to on the phone so I could report his reckless driving. The truck number was 910765.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was driving down Macleod when a Tri_line semi barreld up behind us, we were 1 or 2 under the speed limit. He proceeded to lay on his horn, making us going OVER the speed limit just to get out his way. It only took a minute and he was roughly 40 car lengths ahead flying through a CONSTRUCTION zone that had 50 speed limit signs. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR LAW SUIT YOU HAVE BEHIND THE WHEEL. I thought he was for sure going to hit us at one point!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On June 9 2020 at approx 10 am. I was traveling on 93 south going to Radium, BC. At approx. mile marker 10km. Unit #910903 with Tri-line on the door. This unit which was a double unit B train style truck and trailer, passed me on a solid double line. The speed limit was 90 km and i was doing 95 km on cruise. I had to follow this Triline unit to the brake check on mile 90 approx. in order to get the unit #. At no time while i was following unit #910903 did this unit do the speed limit and at times it was 115 km, the speed limit is 90 km and it is a winding mountain road. Even at the brake stop, to check brakes for large decent, I feel this unit did not stop long enough to do a proper brake check. This is how trucking companies get bad reputations and deservingly so. So Tri-Line, smarten up and get good safe drivers.

Zero highway etiquette. Your driver was doing 92km/hr in a 100 on a 2 lane hwy. Wouldnt let us pass TWICE.
I think you need a safety/driver training meeting in the near future. Your drivers are dangerous.

These two drivers are certainly a great representation of your company

Going through the mountain pass to Radium Springs and one of their many irresponsible drivers driving a B-train was passing traffic on blind corners, double yellows and putting a TON of drivers at risk of injury and death. Absolutely horrible.
