December 26 2021, Extreme cold, snow and icy roads, in the foothills and Canadian Rockies. RIG Logistics Tractor Unit 60200 pulling trailer # 305333, on highway 3, westbound, Southern Alberta, first encounter 4:30 pm. outside Pincher Creek. This driver dangerously passed 8 vehicles on icy roads and poor conditions, at speeds not safe for the conditions. The maneuver caused a white out with ZERO VISABILITY around and behind the semi trailer unit, resulting in the other vehicles having brake suddenly, swerve, or pull over to avoid an accident. This action could have easily caused injury or even killed someone. This driver did not stop there. He continued to swerve from the shoulder of the highway, then over the center line, and back to the shoulder, kicking up snow, more white outs, and obstructing visibility for anyone behind them (more than 20 times). The driver was also witness tailgating vehicles on icy roads, shining bright lights in the back of vehicles to "BLIND" drivers. All of this in order to arrive in Fernie BC 5 minutes ahead of the vehicles he endangered (that is where he pulled off the road into a warehouse). Be aware of who moves product for you, and consider is which is more important, delivery of product or human life. I would give a NEGATIVE or ZERO rating if possible.

Safety team and Manager went above and beyond for me the other night, when I noticed a freight truck in the ditch in -40 weather over night, out of service, I emailed this company in hopes I had the name right to clarify the driver was okay-I didn’t have the company even close but the team at RIG Logistics reached out and found the other truck company and confirmed to me the man was safe! This meant so much to me. My uncles a trucker and it speaks volume on how connected the industry can be !
