โ โ โ โ โ clean and lots of items in store. friendly, informative and accommodating staff.. spoke to Bruno on the phone and spoke personally to Shane! warrantied a bike light that I purchased almost 2 years ago. explained the situation and they helped me got it covered. ended up paying just the difference and got myself a new light. this will be my new local bike shop now. awesome!

โ โ โ โ โ I got a new wheels set here, and got it installed to my bike. They were very friendly, and the person who talked to me was very knowledgeable and nice. They helped me a lot. I liked it.
However, I was very shocked and disappointed about how wheel installation was done. Very surprising thing was, right after installation, quick release lever was very loose. When I put my bike on the stand at home, and just "touched" the tire, rear wheel dropped to the floor. Very surprised who did this didn't know how to use quick release lever, and nobody checked it before handing it back to me.
Second thing was, I immediately noticed the rattling sound which was from cassette sprocket. It is wiggling. Guessed that, they forgot to add 1.85 mm spacer, which is needed for 9 speeds cassette. Also, shifter was not adjusted after installation. So the gear was not transitioning correctly, of course, because the position of the cassette has changed by replacing wheels. It didn't come back up to 1 st gear, and it kept derailing at higher gear. I had to fix it by myself.
Last thing was, rear brake rotor is already touching the brake pad, and it stops rotation soon because of that.
So overall, I have to say, very disappointed about this. They should educate new hires, and at least, they should "check" what they've done before handing it back to customer. Otherwise, very serious accident could happen.

โ โ โ โ โ I took my bike to Trek Burnaby for the Level 2 service as well as some part replacements. Even though there were some quality issues with the original service, their service manager, sales manager and the store manager really showed how strongly they stand behind their products and services. At the end of the day this is what is most important to the customers, how do you handle yourself when things do not go 100%. Well done guys, I highly recommend this store.
