★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While it is very kind of the Travelodge to shelter the homeless during the times of covid, having large groups of homeless partying on the balcony all hours of the night is not very welcoming. They didn't have any regard for peoples property by leaning against whatever vehicle they wanted.
My family did not feel safe walking to our room in the evening due to the shady business happening here. Had I known this before booking a non-refundable room, I would have spent the money to stay somewhere else.
The sheets also had some nasty looking stains on them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a Travelodge. If you're expecting fancy & swanky rooms, go elsewhere. If you're a smoker and need an affordable room for the night, then you cannot go wrong. Cable included in the room. Bed was to be expected, as was carpeting and room decor. Room came with a mini-fridge, two chairs, a closet, and a shower/bathtub. I would recommend an upgrade in towels to the management - they were kind of small, thin and discoloured. Overall I have no complaints regarding my stay. Was super happy to find a smoking room!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible place. My children were scared and felt uneasy about all the people staring at us as we unpacked the truck. I can’t say what the room was like because we put everything back in the truck and left. 100% do not recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seriously, do not recommend this place for anyone who is in business, it’s a lot of homeless people in the whole building, The staff at the front desk are extremely rude, The rooms smells terrible, no shampoo no towels no nothing, absolutely disgusting. I will never ever stay here again…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is run down and not kept up.....chose somewhere else and don't be disappointed. We arrived to unfriendly staff, not even a greeting from one of the employees. They gave us a room right on the main highway through Cranbrook...we walked into the room and walked right out. The room was horrible, made us feel like we were itchy. Didn't even go back to the office to ask for a refund. We left and went down the street to the Best Western for night. Spend the extra money on a different hotel and DON'T STAY HERE! Wish I could give a minus Star rating!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shady motel. Booked a room that had a no cancellation policy. Received a call several weeks after booking letting me know they are running a government subsidize program for low income housing. It's basically a half way house and would not offer a refund when I chose not to stay there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Front Desk was courteous and helpful. Negative: Did not like the full time occupants. They disposed of their cigarette butts on premises, smoking on the walkways with no permission, very offensive drug /marijuana odors. I would not stay there again.
