Respectful, cleaned everything up and hauled away the old tracks, door and opener, did a great job, and did it for a very fair price. Our door was delayed by several months after order by COVID-19 materials supply issues - they kept us informed about the delay, apologizing along the way (it wasn't their fault and we were fine with that) but it was worth the wait. When the door arrived it was installed within the day. There was a hiccup during installation - the new door panels were slightly higher than the old ones and stuck up just enough to be blocked by our overhead storage when they rounded the corner of the track. Most companies would have stopped work and told us to clear the space and then they would resume - we didn't even know that the issue existed as Matt went way above and beyond and took it upon himself to take down all the storage boxes, crates, and the storage frame itself, and continued working. We didn't even know he had done all of this until after he was done - that kind of "get 'er done" service is WAY above and beyond in my estimation. THIS is the kind of service that doesn't exist with just any company these days, particularly the big ones, so we are super pleased that we supported a small local business. We had never heard of Tradewinds before, but we will recommend them highly to anyone looking for garage door servicing or replacement.

Matthew answered my call, and was prompt in his ability to provide service in 24 hours (he actually offered a same-day appointment, except it didn't work with my own schedule). He came to do the repair in the middle of a thick snowfall, and even blew the snow off my car that had been relegated to the driveway while the door was broken. Matthew answered my call, was professional and prompt in his ability to provide service within 24 hours. Matthew professionally and excellently repaired my door's fault, inspected the opener and ancillary equipment. Given two other companies I'd contacted were varied in response (the door manufacturer was unfortunately unable to arrive for nearly a week, and a second private firm didn't bother to return my call after barely acknowledging my initial request), I was vastly relieved to receive the level of competence, experience and amazingly quick repair I did. Mathews' attention to detail was from an era long since gone. 5. I come from a family of craftsman, so I know the difference between great work and slap it together, or even good work. 6. Polite, on-time, efficient, and like a craftsman of the distant past, he cleans up after he's done. I am sorry I can only give him 5 stars. Simplify the best service I have had in years.
