About Township Road Family Dental Centre

Dr. Cannon grew up in Vancouver playing basketball and field hockey and was lucky enough to play for both Provincial Teams throughout high school. She attended UBC where she studied Human Kinetics. From her love of sports, she thought Sports Medicine was the career for her.

Dr. Cannon was first exposed to the field of dentistry when her oldest sister graduated from UBC dental school in 2000. As she learned more about dentistry from her sister, she decided to make the switch. She attended dental school at UBC where she met her wonderful husband, Dr. Daniel Nosyk and they both graduated in 2011.

Her husband was born and raised in Leduc and soon beckoned them to return. Dr. Cannon has been working in Leduc since 2011.

“It’s great! Everyone is really friendly and family-orientated.” Dr. Cannon says of the team and the patients alike. She particularly enjoys working with children, taking time to make sure they get the special attention they often need.

Dr. Cannon has an huge love for animals. She has a special place in her heart for dogs. Sadly, she had to say recently had to say goodbye to her two French Bulldogs, D’Artagnan (the fourth Musketeer) and Grenouille (French for frog). They meant the world to her and they are missed everyday.

Dr. Cannon is also a member of the French Bulldog Rescue Network. The network rescues rehabilitates and finds homes for the cuddly creatures when they are in need.

Although Dr. Cannon is mostly working behind the scenes at this time as she raises her two boys, she is looking forward to getting back into patient care soon!

It was not a fun or easy procedure, to be certain, but Wow was i treated and cared for well! Kayla you are amazing at what you do and, Dr. Nosyk, you should teach new dentists what "bedside" manner and post treatment follow up should look like! I cannot thank you both enough for making me so comfortable and for doing such a great job. I am actually looking forward to my next visit...just a check up next time though perhaps! Sincere thanks!

Truthfully, I have anxiety when it comes to anything dental related, but was in need of care for a bad tooth after years of neglect. Although I was highly anxious, somewhat emotional, and honestly- embarrassed that I had put off treatment for so long, I was treated with patience and kindness. I was reassured, everything was thoroughly explained to me, and when I actually received treatment (tooth extraction) I was kept very comfortable and the entire process went very well. I even received a phone call after my treatment was done when I was back at home- just checking in with me to make sure I was doing ok. I’m very impressed and grateful for the excellent care I received. I would highly recommend Dr. Nosyk and the entire team at Township Road Dental

Dr Kendra McCrea and her assistant Miranda have done what I believed couldn't be repaired. At one point , I lost all hope of rebuilding my dental health, and this duo showed me the way, with such an awesome positive and re assuring approach and then they got busy and delivered! I have 100% full confidence in Dr McCrea. Dr McCrea even called me at home during a long weekend to see how I was doing!I know she will continue with the same patient care as I continue with further needed work!

Dr McCrea (may have misspelt that) is a very considerate dentist, I have been going here for a few years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Although they aren't open on weekends unless it's an emergency, making time to go to township is very worth it.
