An Edmonton boys' dream turned reality. Roger Newton purchased an old pool hall in the west end of Edmonton, with a clear vision of what was missing from the city of champions. There were Irish Bars, English Pubs, and even Belgian Cafes, but there was nothing that truly honoured the rich heritage of Canada. Combine that with his love of Sports, Roger opened the first ever Canadiana Sports Bar in West Edmonton, The Canadian Brewhouse. This location has since closed, but it was the start of a service industry giant.

M	Michelle GH on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I made the regretful decision to order my family food from this restaurant. I have lived in Leduc so long that I remember when this place first opened. We had eaten there the opening week and were not impressed, but I figured that since it has now been so many years passed that we might as well try it again. My son ended up with two incredibly dry mini burgers. The meat inside did not look edible. After he complained about the taste, I took a bite to see what he meant, and the burgers were awful. Just awful. We threw them out and had to make him something else to eat. My meal was also not edible. I had a "Stony Plain" burger, and the meat appeared gray in color. The burger was so incredibly dry that I couldn't eat it. The fries were terrible too, and they seemed a lot like the ones you get from a bag in the frozen food aisle of a grocery store. They completely forgot to give us my husband's meal! We ended up getting a refund later. The wings were edible, though. So, I think if you are going to this place for just drinks or just some wings, you might be fine. But there is NO WAY I'd ever recommend eating an actual meal here. Never again. We spent a fair amount of money on this meal, and it wasn't edible at all.

I took my family members here tonight and it was a disaster, I’m not a guy to get mad but the guy they had running karaoke tonight was horrible, ignorant, selfish and disrespectful. he’s just lucky I never started a fight with him. We were there for two hours and never heard one person sing. I can understand why, the guy is so judgmental it’s unbelievable. This review has nothing to do with my server because she was awesome and very respectful. Thanks and sorry for the negativity.

Also, there are great beers with reasonable price here and you could find some items as the special for every night. I recommend here to have a good time and tasty foods and drinks with the family and friends.
B	Bert Jager on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally!!! Outdoor seating is open. A friend of mine and I went here for lunch . One thing I noticed on the menu is " Montreal smoked meat". I've seen this item on other menus and it's usually pastrami ( a different process and cut of beef . I asked our server if it was pastrami or the real deal. She came back and said it's from Montreal .. so I ordered it It was exactly as I remember it having grown up in Montreal... Was a great sandwich. Our drinks were delicious and served quickly The server was great and had a great sense of humor The only downside was trying to scan the barcode on my phone . So I had to get a menu. Overall definitely worth going back

They had a dueling piano night (amazing!) And the GM was extremely involved with guests and checked on us and other tables regularly throughout our visit! Super impressed! We only had appetizers but the steak bites and onions rings were fabulous! Great time! Thank you!

My bowl was loaded with bite-size chicken strips, finely diced bacon, a hard boiled egg, tomatoes and cheese, with a dressing on the side (as requested). I had to dig a bit to find the greens, but this was a very big, delicious and filling salad.
