First appt with Dr Ian was great, booked again a few months later for some additional work they recommended as I had a tooth ache. I received 3 calls a week before the appt to confirm. When I showed up for the appt they had no idea what I was there for. Had a cleaning and check up instead and they were to submit a pre authorization to my benefits company for major work needed. 6 weeks later I had not heard back so I followed up with my Benefit company and no pre authorization had been submitted. When I followed up with Hello Dental, they had no idea what happened and were "unsure" if they pre authorization had been submitted but would get on it and get back to me. It has now been 8 weeks with a tooth ache and I booked with another Dentist. Will not return here nor will I recommend.

Hands down the best dental office I have been to! Dr. Ahmad and his staff are amazing. Dr Ahmad is always super accommodating and got my fillings and all work done asap. By far the best and most reasonable prices I have ever seen, and for some procedures he charges as much as half as what other dentists charge. I had a chipped molar where he did a filling 6 months ago and he filled it back in at NO CHARGE! Super caring for his patients and will spend his own personal time making sure this is the case (if needed). The doctor and his staff are definitely out for your best interests and not just looking to make a quick buck off you! -CM

Issues at every point of contact, unfortunately. Booking issue, as they were unable to keep the appointment I made for our daughter's first dental visit, and THANKFUL that I saw this as a red flag. I kept my own appointment for a week later, but did not rebook my daughter, although the office manager informed my that Dr. Sabrina was very experienced with children. It was odd that they have no hygienist. A dental assistant did the x-rays, polishing, and scan for the trays to be made for the free whitening that was included, as per their flyers. She was perfectly lovely. She gets the one star. Dr. Sabrina seemed like a nice enough person, however, while she did the scaling, she cut my gums in two places, I spoke up, as it rather hurt, and she said it was because of the crowding by my one tooth. (Doesn't explain the other spot, and I have NEVER had my gums cut or scraped so bad during scaling in my entire life). She was definitely rougher than any hygienist I have ever had. Brushed it off, and then the assistant completed the polishing, and brushed on the flouride treatment... It was a sticky substance that got all over my lips, as well as my gums, and was told it had to remain on for half an hour. It felt rough and gross. By the time I got home, I was drooling and gagging from it, horribly. I was told it would be a week for the whitening trays to be ready to pick up. I checked in a week and a half later, leaving a message. No response. Another week passed, and I got a text and email saying they were ready. Great! Picked them up, and was given a instruction sheet by the staff at the front desk. Seemed simple enough. Go to use it, and the zoom gel oozed up over my gums, but I wasnt able to wipe it away since the trays came up over my gums. It began to burn so bad, I had to take them off after 2 minutes (supposed to be 30-60 minutes). My gums where the gel touched were WHITE. Colour eventually returned, but they were so sensitive, I still couldn't brush my teeth properly 24 hours later. At which point, a layer of dead white skin started to slough off. Gingival pain lasted about 4-5 days total. Turns out, as per the tiny instruction slip in the zoom gel wrapper, the first treatment is meant to be completed in office AND the dental office is meant to trim down the trays so as not to cover the gums. Why on earth I figured the office's instruction sheet would have been sufficient, I don't even know. Lesson learned. When I contacted the office to clarify about the whitening trays, as per the first treatment and triming down of the trays, they told me to do it myself, and that they don't actually do zoom treatment in the office. (Um, ok.) Also, they expressed no concern as to the chemical burn I explained on my gums. I replied again, via email, for record, all the above issues and concerns, also stating that when I had received an auto text after my initial appointment, asking, "did you leave our office smiling", and I had replied, "no" (bleeding and gagging was more accurate), which auto replied, "someone from our office will be in contact with you soon", NO one ever got back to me. Thank God I didn't end up taking my daughter there. And yes, it's been a week since I sent that last email, and NO response. I am more than willing to give places a couple attempts to fix things, but this dental office is just not worth it. BE WARNED.

Horrible experience, got mislead for 2 1/2 months when trying to make an appt with dentist. Telling me he was on an "unknown" period of time holiday. Then finally make an appt with said dentist just to get a call couple days later saying She! Has to reschedule. I told them my appt was not with this dentist and gave other dentist name who was a He! To find out he left the practice 2 months prior. Went in with horrible pain from side of mouth, thought it was from filling had done.. took xrays, poked all the teeth i said were fine. Said i must have nerve damage in a tooth, couldn't tell which one said would send a referral for me to a see specialist.. that never happened. No follow ups nothing. Both east and west locations. Would not recommend.

I would highly recommend Dr Sabrina Atwal and the staff at Hello Dental. Very friendly and professional staff. I had to have a tooth filled because of a crack in the tooth. She made the experience a pleasant one. Didn't feel the needle or have any discomfort. Usually after dental work my lips are numb and it is difficult to talk. No numbness and no issues with talking. Great experience.

At 53 yrs old, today I had the best teeth clean and oral check-up ever. Allisa's (the technician who saw me) seat-side manner, confidence, professionalism and thoroughness was impressive, thus prompting this review. Kudos to Hello Dental on their talent recruitment.
