What an incredible experience it was! On a clear night, you can see the Milky way and Andromeda. Ideal place for Stargazing. There are loons that come to play in these lakes that are magnificent.

It's the coolest experience ever. It takes about 2.2 hours from Toronto and it's worthy all the way. We went when we saw in their website that the sky is clear, you need to check it it's pretty accurate. We left Toronto almost 10pm and we were they passed 12am. We saw shooting starts, we could see many constellations, Saturn, Sirius etc, million stars. We bought our special binoculars and telescope, but it was -33Β° so we could only stayed out for 1 hour. We definitely are coming back for a meteorite shower in April.

Spectacular spot for a walk. Quiet in the day midweek (it is famous as a dark sky preserve after all!). Small car park at the signed entrance to the dark sky area itself, but lots of small parking spots in the wider conservation area. The main parking area has toilets.

By far one of the most magical nights I’ve ever had. I went with family during the Perseids meteor shower and we were amazed at what we saw. The milkyway was so visible and there were at least 50 shooting stars per hour. The only unfortunate bit of the trip was the insane amount of people visiting. The parking lot is small so most people were parked illegally and quite dangerously along the road. If you go further into the park there’s less blaring flashlights and noisy drunks.

I visited this place in Winter. The place is good, but you must check the weather and make sure it's not cloudy. I will visit it again in the summer. There are nice trails and small parking lot.

Some great spots to grab some beautiful night sky shots, lots of different spaces to setup your camera or even just lay down on the rock and enjoy the Wonder of the night sky. I would plan to go during the week to minimize the amount of people that show up and make too much noise (which could ruin the experience a bit). Worth the drive!

It was really cold but was a clear sky. Was hoping to capture the amazing universe but I didn't have the best night vision camera. It gets really dark at night and you definitely need to bring food especially when arriving before sunset as there are no stores or anything nearby. Full tank of gas just in case you get stuck in a ditch. Lots of stars shining in the midnight sky, it was a breath taking view ?. Definitely the best place to do stargazing, unfortunately, no northern lights tonight.

Excellent night viewing experience. I went during the Perseid meteor shower and saw lots of meteors. It was my first time there, so I was surprised at the amount of people. Be prepared to bring something soft to sit on since most the park is granite rock.
