B	Bob Barrie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dropped in at the Marine Museum for a visit with a family of five (older kids) for about 1.5 hours on Sunday July 15th 2017, during what felt like a tsunami like rain. Front desk staff and the two museum volunteers were wonderful. Volunteer 'Bob', in the vintage boat area had an astounding wealth of knowledge. Museum is well laid out with engaging displays.
A	Andrea Petrut on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved it! Highly recommend if you ever pass by and it's open! We visited the Centre in 2019 during the Antique Boat Show. We were five, two adults and two children. At the entrance we found welcoming staff. We love the interactivity of the Muskoka Discovery Centre and all the educational ways they used for all ages. The children's playground is a wide an open space that I never knew one could have in a centre like that! It's different than the Ontario Science Centre we're used to and seemed both intimate though open and wide, very diverse, for all ages, and also inspiring. All our children - then (less than) 1 year old, 7 years old and 11 years old - could find different ways to play and also be safe (the younger ones have an enclosed space with all sorts of stuff. It was such a relief to take rest as adults while children would play and have fun under shade (it was very hot outside). We are grateful we had the opportunity to visit before everything changed in the world! Many thanks to all those who support it financially and take care of it.
