Their administration could use some work. Made an appointment which was cancelled by them due to delays in construction. After not hearing back reached out again and rescheduled and received an email with the appointment details. Showed up to my appointment to be told that it wasn't booked. Apparently they are supposed to call the day before to confirm - so you can't make any plans until they call you the day before with a confirmation. Nevermind that you need to take time in your day, arrange for someone to pick up the kids, take time off work - they will call day before and if you don't hear from them you have to assume that you're out of luck. So I showed up to be told that they'll reschedule my appointment. Imagine if it were the other way around - tell them a few minutes before your appointment that you can't make it - how much do they charge for missed appointments?

I initially had a bad experience with this place because one of the hygienists really tried to oversell me every possible treatment. Once I spoke with someone to make a treatment plan they admitted a lot of the treatments (wisdom teeth removal, Invisalign, gum graft) the hygienist had mentioned weren’t really necessary. I then had several cavities filled and had the best experience. The dentist and her assistant were so efficient and my teeth felt great afterwards. I would highly recommend but just push back if you feel you are being oversold, then you will have a great experience!

Have been coming to Toronto Lakeshore Dental for a couple years now and it always a good experience (as much as visit to the dentist can be haha) they are always polite, on time and all around a good experience with a welcoming environment. One of my favourite things about them is the tv on the ceiling, you get to choose anything on Netflix and lay back as they clean your teeth and the kind staff. Also they work with insurance and do their best to have everything taken care of prior to your arrival.10/10 Recommend.

I found this practice through OpenCare and was pleasantly surprised with how close it was to my house. My first visit there was absolutely amazing! The place was so clean, the staff were organized and friendly, and the assessment was thorough. Above all, the hygienist was so gentle- the most pleasant experience I have ever had at the dentist, I was so happy. I had two cavities on either side so I had to have two appointments to get them filled (since they numb each side). The first cavity appointment was okay. I had some tools dropped on me, was lightly hit by the tubes. A couple of little things like that here and there but overall the appointment was okay. Staff weren't as engaged or attentive but it's a pretty routine procedure. The second cavity appointment.. was a nightmare. First, it felt like the staff working on my teeth were rushing, to the point where it felt like all care went out the window. Little engagement and just grabbing and passing things franticly. Second, this was probably the most painful appointment I've had in my life. I was lightly stabbed with a few tools, they stretch my mouth without any remorse, the dentist was resting her pinky on my lip (where it rested on top of my teeth) so her nail was digging into my lip, they kept taking the tools out of my mouth in a way that would not only further stretch my lips but also scrape my lip, knocked with tools again, and just in general being really rough. I was lying there thinking... what happened? They were so amazing and gentle the first time! Even with extra numbing, it was such a painful and rough experience. I left feeling really frustrated and disappointed. I had hoped (and thought) I found my new family dentist but after this appointment, I won't be going back.

Four Letters : GING ! That is who did my teeth cleaning. ( reasonably priced without insurance) She is absolutely delightful , professional & very friendly. She made me feel welcomed & comfortable. I left feeling like a valued customer. Thank You -Nicoli

very nice staff both behind the desk and at work on your teeth! such a modern office. As someone from a small town, going to this office was definitely a culture shock. Overall a great experience. I plan on going back regularly!

So happy with the treatment I have received so far! I am a very anxious person when it comes to the dentist, but everyone at this office is very kind and patient. They took extra time to ensure that I was comfortable, and thoroughly explained everything that I needed. All staff were so helpful. Dealt with my insurance claims so easily! Thanks to you all!

I have been a patient along with my family of 4 since this clinic opened. I am beyond satisfied with their level of care and standards. Everyone is friendly, approachable and courteous. I’m super impressed mostly on how they made my 10 year old daughter love going to the dentist. I think that says it all. I could go and an on about how amazing this dental practice is but you’d need to go and see for yourself to believe. I’ve had extractions done, and with emergencies they are quick to book. After a terrible wisdom extraction many years ago, I have finally booked to extract the rest of my wisdom teeth and I’m confident it will go smoothly. I’ve been to some questionable dentists but I highly recommend Lakeshore Dental.
