The workers at Central Family Intake, are extremely rude, unhelpful, and they routinely deny service to myself, my uncle, Lawrence Allen White, and anyone else who has been blacklisted in Toronto, as a political target and public hostage. It is 1:05 AM, and my uncle and I are currently renting a hotel room for two nights, with what limited funds we have, because Central Family Intake and the City of Toronto refuse to help us with shelter or housing. The City of Toronto, United Way, and Dixon Hall, have actually gone out of their way to render us both homeless, helpless, and without support. Social services and social work in Toronto is complete fraud. Taxpayer money, and donations given to the municipal, federal, and provincial governments, along with these "charitable" organizations in good faith, is simply used to line the pockets of corporate criminals at Ernst and Young, Philips, CIBC, Bell, Telus, Corporation of the City of Toronto, Rogers, Caddilac Fairmont, Oxford Properties, Chrysler, BMW, Audi, Volkwagen, Blakes, Cassels and Graydon LLP, Macmillian LLP, and others.
Central Family Intake is a criminal organization, that needs to be disbanded at once, and its staff and management brought to justice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called this location to ask if they can offer me a stay with my children and they refused. A women asked for the reason why I want to stay in a shelter, and I told her that I have a death threats from my neighbor, I already called the police but meanwhile I feel unsecured to stay in my home. She directly told me that there is no available space plus she cannot help me until I provide a letter from the police stated that I am in danger. This is very disturbing, very frustrating and very injustice. I hope nothing will happen to me or my children, and if anything happens I could be safe if this shelter would helped me. Thank you

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first time I spoke to the intake worker the worker was very kind and she helped me a lot. Although she told me the next day to call and when I did i ended up getting a male who was quite rude...overall though the staff are very helpful and polite

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had made a call to help assist my elderly Father in his early stages of Alzhiemers find housing for a night until further plans could be made. He was evicted from a boarding home due to not completing his taxes and not having enough funds to pay his rent.The woman I spoke with was of the most ignorant, and rude humans I've ever spoken with. Not a great career choice/job for her. Being a nurse, Compassion I know should be top priority in these types of emergency situations. Good luck to anyone having to call intake. I hope they reevaluate their staff.
