I asked her for flawless glowy skin, dramatic eyes and a red lip and she delivered a look that sizzled without looking overdone and, most importantly, lasted all night without a single touchup. She managed to take a whole bunch of different inspiration pics for hair from my Pinterest board and translate it to something that worked for my particular style... considering I have a sidecut. She made a perfect suggestion for a low knot that played up both the romance for my big day without losing the slightly edgy vibe of the side shave. My hair was a marvel of structural engineering — not a lock of it fell out of place, and I must have had over 20 bobby pins in it, but it still looked soft and touchable. And all this without a trial! She was also super sweet to my little sister, my mom, and my non-English-speaking grandma. She even managed to squeeze my aunt in at the last minute, even though she hadn't planned for it. Jem is easygoing, easy to get along with, easy to talk to and super professional. I would highly recommend Toronto Bridal Style for any prospective brides!

Both times she exceeded my expectations, and my hair and makeup lasted all night! Jem is a true artist and always brings my vision to life. She is open to my ideas and feedback but also sets realistic expectations about what can and can’t be achieved and does everything she can to make my desired image for my special day come to life. She creates a fun and calming atmosphere during the getting ready process and her attention to detail, talent, artistry, and professionalism put me at ease. I showed her some pictures on Pinterest and she got both my hair and make up on point- better than I could've ever expected. Not to mention the compliments I got on my hair and make up all night! My make up was natural but covered well (especially since I didn't get a good night's rest the night before) And my hair and make up both lasted all night through my crazy dancing!

I was quite worried as an older bride that make-up would make me look older but Jem did such an amazing job and listened to what I wanted and perfected my wedding look.
