Amazingly useful place when you have a project to handle. Only complaint is that they aren't always available for delivery, so you need to arrange your own pick up, which most people cannot do, due to the size of some equipment needed for jobs.

Service was excellent. Everything explained, the gentleman serving me was knowledgeable and kind. Was pretty fast to get from the payment area to walking away with the tool. Even included a quick tool tutorial, which was thorough. Will be going back to rent more stuff from them, for sure

Lou Pro is the worst place to buy or have equipment fixed hands down. The staff is extremely unhelpful, rude and dishonest. My last visit, after I have already had my chainsaw there to be fixed for the 4th time in a year, keep in mind that every time I get my chainsaw back, the employees said it was running perfect and there’s no problems. When I tried to start the chainsaw, it barely starts and has new problems. The manager told me there was nothing they could do after my last visit because my piston is burn and my fuel line is pinched... Well for you the consumer, my chainsaw needed a simple service and had no issues until the mechanics at their shop touched it. I now know they are reason for these newer problems. I repeat, my saw had ZERO issues before I brought it in for a service. Now its been over a year, I've had to bring it back 4 more times and buy a new saw because their mechanics destroyed it and is unusable (it wasn’t even a year old). I took the same chainsaw it to another shop and they were able to confirm my suspicions. That the employees at Lou Pro weren't fixing it at all but instead damaging it, and the manager at Lou Pro lied to my face multiple times. When I finally confronted the manager and service staff about their lack of professionalism and with overwhelming evidence of that they hadn’t done anything other then destroy my saw, I was then turned me away and said that I should go buy a new chainsaw and or go somewhere else. Well I already bought another saw because they destroyed mine and I won't ever go back. So if you’re reading this review consumer, avoid this shop at all costs. The service is horrid, expect to get your equipment back in worse shape then when you brought it in, be prepared to be lied to and messed around. They don't deserve your time, or money.

Made a reservation for a tool and they rented it anyway. Showed up to pick it up and all they could say was "sorry we rented and forgot to change the pick up date in our systems". Terrible customer service or attempt to correct their mistake. Ruined my project plans.

After my Stihl chainsaw ran out of gas in early October I thought it would be the perfect time to transport it here and get it tuned up (cleaned, sharpened and just checked out). I had rented other tools here before and was very satisfied. When is asked how long it would take they told me it would take two weeks. They said they would call once ready. Three weeks passed. No call. So I phoned. They told me my chainsaw was scrap because it lost its compression. This was disturbing because it was working fine when I brought it in for maintenance. So I was told to call the mechanic during the week. I called the mechanic and he confirmed what was said to me earlier. I had left a deposit for $114 (not sure why?). They said they would credit me. A week and a half later, No credit. I had to go in to get the credit. So now I am out of a chainsaw. I would suggest trying Simplex on St. Joseph.

Always have great service there, whether its people behind the counter, tool handlers or drivers, they’re all polite, friendly and ready to help. Will keep renting from there for sure

I know things are busy but it's pretty tough to get through on the phone, and going in in operation isn't much easier, then being frustratedly told I was supposed to call to get the machine picked up even though the day before I was told it would 100% be picked up after 24h and couldn't extend if I wanted to, and not told to call. The woman at the counter was friendly, and the delivery driver, but definitely would avoid if I could.

June '22 I have use this place twice more. Easy dealings at the cash. Some good personal attention, making sure my tool was in top working condition. They gave me a tutorial also. Appreciated June '21 I have only used this place twice, so my experience/opinion is limited, however; Good tools, Good vibe, pleasant people. ...Recently, they were able to help me choose the appropriate grinder ànd diamond abrasive pad. Jobs are so much easier, when you go to those who know. Thanks, John. .
