★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Needs some cupboards to keep critters at bay. much loved hut needs some TLC and a woodshed. But warms up nicely and reasonably comfortable

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a tough skin up. It took us 8.5 hours to get to the hut, which needs some improvements, but we were so exhausted and frozen that I don't remember that I was ever as happy to stay at a 5 stars hotel as I was happy to find this cabin in darkness eventually. Lots of wood and propane inside, cooking supplies. Basic, but safe stay high in the mountains.
