★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location! The hotel is quite dated and not well kept. It is not very clean. There are suspicious looking stains on the carpet, mildew growing on the grout in our shower, and house keeping wasn't very thorough. They ran out of clean towels while we were there so better to bring your own.. staff weren't helpful and were disappointed when interrupted from what sounded like a personal phone call at the front desk. But the location doesn't get any better for skiing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great budget hotel. It's the closest to the lifts and is a great price. That said the beds were double beds not queen size and the rooms are small. It's a lively place however and still uses traditional metal keys to lock the doors. Some might say it could use a renovation but it fits the purpose of a place to sleep at Legendary Fernie!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location was alright. Not really a ski out or a ski in because of stairs to and from the hotel. The beds in the room were twins not queens which sucked to share with another person. The hot tub room was quite dirty. The bathroom was clean and it's nice they have a small desk in the hotel room. We probably won't stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and very quiet place to stay, super convenient location and I REALLY appreciated being allowed to plug our electric car into a socket at the parking place at the back. Thank You! Would you consider adding 240V charge points for EVs? There will be many more of us in the coming years.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and nice accommodation. If you don't want to break the bank for ski in ski out accommodations this is for you. If you want bells and whistles this is not for you. Staff for friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and pretty spacious. We stayed on the "basement" floor and it was great there was a door to the outside on our floor. There are no longer any hot tubs which is too bad. I recommend going into town for dinner as the restaurants on the resort were only okay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed 2 nights over a weekday, reasonably priced and clean. Hot shower and good pressure. Courteous staff. Right at the base of the slopes. Can't get much better for the price. Would stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lady at front desk was great. It was expensive for the quality of room. Very dated hotel and rooms. Need upgrade and face lift. Flickering lights, worn furniture. Comfy pillows. Stain on mattress. Location is the plus but not ski in or ski out which is what I hoped for as a tourist from out of province. Fine for one night but wouldn’t have an extended stay here.
