The management is utterly incompetent and very unprofessional. Their security detachment from Blackbird Security threatens their clients at the door, and demands medical information, which is illegal. I was just arrested there for doing nothing other than shopping for spices and produce. My crime? Not wearing a useless textile over my breathing holes, and refusing it due to medical exemption is legal and allowed. Having been a loyal customer for several years, spending untold thousands at their establishment, I have nothing but bad things to say about the facility and those that operate it. All friends, family, and associates will be getting this information and will be welcomed to shop elsewhere. You're incompetent team is shooting themselves in the foot, and we will take our business elsewhere. Sorry for your loss. Being that mandates are not law, expect a law suit in the coming days for violating my Human Rights. If you're reading this, don't shop at this establishment.

The staff are Lovely ? ?, I've Personally always found the prices to be high, however You can get great deals, Super clean + their Starbucks is great staff & all ??

They've always got what your looking for, prices are on par with most local grocery stores, quality is great and customer service is excellent as well!!

Wonderful grocery store has a fabulous prime rib carving station with sides available at Cliffe Avenue location. They also offer their Sendial program to deliver groceries to seniors unable to shop! This has been so helpful to so many.

Bought some hot cross buns, supposedly fresh, had a "new" sticker. Tasted old, new sticker was attached over top of an " on sale" sticker. Go figure. Will return tomorrow .

Great place to pay twice as much as the superstore for pretty much everything! Sometimes it's laughable. Lovely staff , decent deals on meat at times. But thier regular prices on shelf items is crazy. 6 English muffins at superstore $2.28 Thriftys $4.49. Thrifty?

Very nice store with lots of option, staff are always extremely friendly and helpful… However… I recently received a bag of sugar free gummy bears from this location. Although the bag warns of a certain ingredient, no warning could have prepared me for what was to occur… after eating the entire bag I began to bloat, although it seemed innocent at the time, it was not. After about an hour and a half, the first bowel movement occurred. Although there was no pain, I launched a full assault on the toilet. I felt as though my intestines were Russia and the toilet was the Ukraine. I believe I was firing at about 1200gpm. The toilet didn’t see it coming, I would revisit it 13 times that night. Each visit more violent than the last. At one point a maxi pad was strategically placed in my underwear in a desperate attempt to remain in control of the situation. As the dust settled I was able to reflect on my experience…. Pain: minimal, only real discomfort came in the form of a raw bottom due to the abnormally frequent wiping. I was done no favours as the TP at work is 1 small step behind sandpaper. Cleansing properties: 10/10, I have never been so empty in my life and would highly recommend the deep spring cleaning that occurred on my guts. All in all, an 8/10 experience. Little to no discomfort, I would however advise against participation if you are easily embarrassed or ashamed. Although those emotions may leave you once the real sense of urgency hits as you rush to the toilet for the 9th time, people may take notice. Embrace shamelessness and hold on tight, it’s a wild ride.

Beautiful, clean and fresh Thrifty store. My go to! Really enjoy the fresh juice bar. Also...the Starbucks at this location is the best in Comox Valley! The morning staff is endearing, quick, and the drinks are lovely. Had a weird experience with the evening staff on one occasion...but that's it ! I love this space !
