★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AVOID THEM FOR MORTGAGES. I have had two previous mortgages from "big banks' and never paid more than $500 in penalty when paying off the mortgage when selling a home. Over $8500 to FCU on a mortgage below 200k?!?! Ridiculous. And not very customer friendly. They know I'm returning to school and would not even consider reducing the penalty. BEWARE! Read all the fine print or better yet, go elsewhere for your home financing needs.
