★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you don’t have an appointment, you can expect very poor treatment here, and probably a long wait. Their admissions person on duty today was surly and uncaring. When someone in line asked what time might be less busy, she responded ‘Never,’ without telling this patient that they could book an appointment. Thinking we’ll go anywhere else next time even though our appointment went fairly smoothly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Multiple times have gone there and had to wait only to be told they have “not received the requisition from the doctor”….also they have like 24hr turn around since it’s faxed to a remote location first so I couldn’t even get it refaxed for that day. Logistics sucks!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saturday the 20th I got blood taken at our local Life Labs. I used the hold my spot app. I was impressed with my whole experience .
The Ladys were lovely,professional and quick. I give a 10 out of 10. I dont give many of these out. I have done some secret shopper in my life and I judged the time as I would if I was being paid. Thank you Life Labs for making this 60 year old feel safe and happy. From door in ,to door out. I was done in 14 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always helpful staff working under pressure in a far too undersized space. Feel bad they have to deal with nasty patients who think they are trying to get service from a Tim Hortons. This is healthcare people and the staff have to abide by healthcare protocols.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been going here for years every 3 months, usually a wait but I go on days where it doesn't matter. Today I arrive and not much of a wait but the attitude I got at the front desk was rude and condesending. When I made an inquiry I was told I was being rude and the woman walked away into thr back. The woman who took my blood was excellent. Thr 1 star is because of the front desk. Unacceptable!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had fairly fast, professional and friendly service, early this morning when I visited LifeLabs Courtenay location. In spite of a line up outside before opening hrs, we were all processed efficiently and I received services way before my posted estimated wait time. All credit is due to the 2 ladies on staff, who I observed had to work all positions, including admissions, admin, taking blood and other samples for testing, and probably multiple other duties as well. This company should hire at least one other employee per shift, as I can see these ladies were very overtaxed in their duties.
