★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff are generally very friendly, although I wouldn't hold it against them if the weather got the better of them now and again. Hit and miss for the schedule, usually it's late in the off season- you can count on it being late in the summer. Arrive at least an hour early if you want a chance at a morning ferry, and even then you may not get on. This route needs a bigger ferry desperately. If you have a boat and can avoid using this ferry, it’s highly advised you do so.
