Thetis Island Ferry Terminal

Love this ferry with great service and great crew.

Regular service but extremely limited amenities at the terminal. There's only a digital screen showing the next departure, an outhouse, and a waiting area similar to a bus stop to keep you out of the weather.

Regular service from 630 am till 1100 pm. Amazing for one of the smaller islands. Portable toilet. Digital message board. Pic nic table. Pretty basic amenities. Doesn’t seem there would be much space to do more. There have recently been safety upgrades to the dock and ramp etc. Would be nice if there was a more robust shelter for passengers in inclement weather. Currently just a glassed shelter on the dock with only partial surround. Very limited space for waiting passengers. Spectacular views of the bay and local islands while you wait tho!! Absolutely beautiful scenery and surroundings. A little piece of paradise. Remember motor bikes and the mail van are permitted to go to the front of the line. They are not budging in line :). When visiting in the summer months especially if you need to travel at a certain time be prepared to put your vehicle in line a full sailing in advance then enjoy a stroll down the beach or on the beautifully manicure and parklike gardens and grounds of Capernwray (adjacent to the ferry ⛴ dock). Check in with reception! They will give you a warm welcome and a walking map ? too. If you have children there are a couple small playgrounds here too which can be handy ALSO a small ice cream and coffee place. Select hours in the afternoon and evening. Open to the public.
