Telegraph Harbour Marina

Lovely, calm harbour - great for SUP - well-maintained docks, clean facilities, quiet evenings, attentive, friendly owners, beautiful property - unfortunately the store is unable to open yet this year - hopefully they will be able to open the store, as the BC govt allows businesses in the province to re-open. One of our favourite marinas!

Very friendly marina with a helpful staff. Very well protected. Be sure to order freshly baked baguettes and grab some coffee. There is a farm stand just down the road with some nice baked goods (pies, brownies, bread, cinnamon rolls), pick up some in season produce and shop from a freezer loaded with lamb and cheese.

We have been visiting this marina for over 15 years! We love it! Tara and Ron take such good care of it and the grounds. We started out coming with our kids and a group of boats. The kids always had so much fun. Now our kids are grown up, so it’s just us. We love how the flower boxes are always filled with colourful petunias and the hanging baskets on the posts on the docks look so pretty. That welcoming touch detail tells you that they care about the details. Ron is always there to catch us as we arrive and often helps to see us off. It’s been a while since we’ve played shuffleboard or tetherball, but it’s all still there. Even the horseshoes and ping pong and swings. Love these old fashioned ways of having fun. There’s a barbecue on shore to use, there’s laundry facilities, nice clean bathrooms and showers, a pavilion to use with your group, and the lovely store and cafe. There’s something about eating an ice cream cone on a hot day... perfect! You can get yummy pies, and have a coffee at the old fashioned soda fountain counter. We like to sit in the shade of the hydrangeas and relax while the screen door bangs open and closed. Just down the road a hundred meters or so is Howling Wolf Farm Market, where you can get fresh locally grown greens, veggies, fruit, baking (the brownies sell out early!), and Island raises meats. We had yummy prawns one night and salmon burgers another night. It’s an honour system, so bring cash to put in the box, because there usually isn’t anyone there! Sometimes Solar Bud is there, making his cool (hot?) solar art with beautiful wood pieces and a magnifying glass. There’s so much more to say!! I guess you just have to go and find out for yourself... Enjoy!

Best marina in the Gulf Islands. Clean comfortable, great ice cream, very nice owners. Awesome docks, with help to land your yacht. Super spot to hold your rendezvous.

Very nice, will for sure come back. Staff were friendly and helpful. Standing on the dock waiting to help tie up.

Always a lovely experience on Thetis, the off-season is quiet and chill on the island. Really enjoy spending time in a low-key environment.

We loved our visit to this marina. All the staff were extraordinarily friendly and helpful. When the power went out, the owners went the extra mile to get our pizza cooked for us (and it was delicious!) Also loved the ice cream floats. We will definitely come back again.

Beautiful place for a picnic. The local store has very good ice cream! Lots of little places to sit and relax in the shade. Keep in mind the bathrooms are for guests of the Marina only. The store was very kind in letting me use their staff bathroom, but they reserve the right to deny it.
