★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hippos! Fish and chips,fries, onion rings, licenced, ice cream. Nice place to stop for a casual lunch or dinner or even just ice cream. Kids, bikers, seniors, teenagers everyone stops here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the place to go to if your on a motorcycle clearly they must hate riders because of the amount of hate that's dished out just for pulling into the parking lot. I have advised several large motorcycle groups stay clear and also to ban the resteraunt as a stop. I cough the entire discussing incident on my helmet camera. To be honest the fish is great a little higher priced then normal but not bad. Just don't show up on a bike. Keep in mind you have plenty of other fish and chips options if your touring Lake Erie.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying Hippo's and loved it! The perch sandwich was absolutely incredible. We also had fish tacos and the coconut shrimp, all were delicious. And that view, you can sit and eat right at Lake Erie's edge with one of the best local views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to hippos on our motorcycle and had no problem parking. Actually a group of about 6 bikes were just leaving. Great food . Haddock and chips was very good . Perch sandwich and poutine delicious . Love the bar and sitting area right by the lake. Def will be back

Ordered fish and chips , coleslaw was so fresh and tasty not the typical mayo laden slaw that usually is thrown in as an after thought great portions fries amazing! Good pricing definitely worth a stop in
