M	Michael Lunney on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the pleasure of staying here last season, and it was a very quiet and pleasing spot to vacation. The owners are fantastic and the resort is beautiful. The cabin is quite nice and the property has walking trails. We completely enjoyed our stay there.

We absolutely fell in love with it and hope to be able to go back again during a different season (maybe to see the resort's world-renowned ice sculptures). Our group of four 30-something adults enjoyed the quiet, the astounding views, the hiking trails, the campfire at night under the stars and the smell of fresh air early in October. And many more things. The fireplace in the cottage....the comfy beds...having all the cooking implements one could possibly need...this place has it all! And a great history too! Also can't pass up the opportunity to say how wonderful the owners are. Valerie saved us from getting stuck without gas at night by refilling our tank! Phew. And helped us when we were in need of some caffeine. Just fantastic. Thanks for everything!

The lake is a stunning example of a Canadian Shield Lake. Highly recommended. Say hi to Shawn and Val , the original owners if you go. You will not be disappointed!

The cottages are lovely. They are very nicely furnished and kept immaculate. Our family discovered The White Pines about 13 years ago and we feel like we have come home every time we turn onto Popkie Road. Black Donald Lake is hidden treasure as well. It is loaded with Smallmouth Bass, Pike and Walleye. If you are looking to get away, relax by a campfire, enjoying the call of the Loons and spend quality time with family and nature, this is your destination.

Clean , well equipped cabin before you arrive. Quiet and friendly people . Definitely will be making plans for a weekend or two this year again and next summer. Thank you so much Sean and Val! ❤?

Beautiful autumn scenery and the owners were amazing and so accommodating! Our two year old joined us at the end and loved the playground and seeing the stars at night ? Definitely intend to go back.
