The fish and chips was outstanding. The staff were very courteous, and went out of their way to see that all our needs were met.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly staff, and honestly one of the only golf courses open first week of April. Couldn't be happier! Everything was beige but the course played just like healthy grass. Better than the dry season if you ask me! Love the lake views

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked a stay & play for the weekend and although the golf course was great the stay was terrible. We upgraded the room for $100 to the “jacuzzi queen suite” and received a dirty shower tub (not a jacuzzi). The “queen” bed was two uncomfortable single beds pushed together. When matters were brought up to staff regarding the false advertisement we were told the $100 upgrade was for the kitchen which was useless to us as we were only staying for one evening. Very disappointed with the false advertisement, our invoice clearly displays the jacuzzi charge which was not in our room. We also experienced the same water conditions issues as stated in various reviews. Overall, would not recommend the stay & play package and will certainly not be returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have not stayed at the resort, only played the golf course but I love the course. It is super fun to play and very picturesque. I’ve made a special trip out three times this season and each time was a joy to play. Staff is very friendly and all players in front and behind were lovely. The restaurant serves up decent food too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Calabogie Highlands is my go-to for getaways several times a year. Whether I stay in the one bedroom Jacuzzi suite or a friend and I stay in the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite, it is always relaxing and comfortable. During COVID my friends and I have enjoyed the 2 BR, 2 Bath suite as it allowed us to do “social distancing” and have our own entrance (two storey walk-up) and our own heating/ ventilation system. It is a self-contained open concept unit with kitchen, living room, dining room, sliding glass doors to the balcony with a beautiful view of Calabogie Lake on one side and their fabulous golf course on the other side. Whether you go in the winter to ski or snow-shoe, or In other seasons to play a great game of golf, or hike to Eagles’ Nest, or canoe or kayak, Calabogie Highlands has something for everyone. And the rooms are always very clean and the staff—should you need to contact them, are personable, helpful and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here on a business trip while away in calabogie and had a great experience! Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfy and smelled fresh! Golf course was just steps away from my front door and the course in itself is a great time. Lots of good challenges and very well maintained. Couldn’t believe the great condition of the course so early in the season! Definitely will recommend!
