★ ★ ★ ★ ★ EDIT: Came back recently and got a chicken biryani as one of the lunch specials for $7.99. It came with one of their delicious charbroiled chicken legs and there was SO MUCH flavourful rice that it could've fed two people easily. Also came with a drink and a side of their amazing butter chicken sauce and raita.

Gave The Thandur a try when they first opened in the summer of 2020 and I loved the food there. I got one of their lunches with the char-grilled chicken which came with rice, butter chicken sauce, and a small container of mango salad. The chicken had a lovely smokiness and was perfectly cooked; but what stood out was their butter chicken sauce which is outstanding!
I also got an order of the calamari which was a touch bland so I added more salt. The sauce that it comes with is really good as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food at The Thandur tasted AMAZING! When they say the fusion of spices, they really mean it! Its a great selection of fusion food. We had the chilli chicken and Thandur chicken with the perfect matching sides of mango salad and butter sauce with rice and naan.
I would highly recommend eating here. My husband and I were definitely try it again! The host was super friendly as well, Thanks you @The Thandur for the nice experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My go to dish is the thandur chicken skillet. Some delicious fusion, indian cuisine and my must eat in markham. The owner is always friendly and has some of the best service. In the photo is the Thandur Chicken Skillet with half rice and half fries which is a special request I asked for. I also get the mango shake everytime even though it is a little expensive because I want to support this restaurant for it's amazing dishes and services! The shake is also just delicious as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dined in and was very pleased with the service, cleanliness, atmosphere, and quality of the food! I ordered the thandur butter chicken poutine and it was very good!! The sauce, chicken, and cheese curds are plated in layers and not just all put on top so every bite I had an evenly distributed taste!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was searching for Authentic Butter Chicken Restaurants and I came across this restaurant in Markham. I tried the Butter Chicken Bowl with Salad. This is the first time trying Butter Chicken and I can say I love the overally taste and mixture with the Rice. The Butter Chicken is flavorful with abit of a kick and mixing with the Rice makes it much better. I truly love this restaurant and will return to try the Butter Chicken again because it was the best butter chicken I tried. For anybody near this area in Markham it is a must.
