The Station on Whyte - Edmonton

Good luck trying to get ahold of anyone from here, leasing staff were rude when I FINALLY got ahold of them on the phone. When an appointment was booked to view a suite, NO ONE SHOWED UP! We waited outside for 45 minutes, while no one answered the phone at all. This place seemed desirable but I now realize I would never want to live somewhere with such rude and unorganized staff.

Very decent building and management Well kept and clean, i have lived here for 3 1/2 years and the only downside i can think off is the occasional noise from whyte ave. I Highly recommend this place.

I just moved in over the last month, management is some of the best that I've dealt with and this was my favorite experience for getting an apartment. To top it off everything was clean and in perfect working order when I moved in!

Clean, safe, and the staff are very helpful! I recently had a situation where my washing machine was broken at 10:00pm and by 9:00 am staff had come in and fixed it. Great service and great price for what you are getting.

Friendly leasing staff, responsive to maintenance requests, and the apartments/amenities themselves are very nice. Building was constantly under contruction, roads were blocked fairly often, bi-weekly apartment inspections, and monthly fire alarm tests that lasted all day. Keep in mind the neighbouring bars are very loud and a quiet weekend at home just cant be expected here. Parking is an additional $100/month on top of your rent.

Have lived here since the start of the pandemic, Location is good, However the area has become quite a bit rougher with the start of Pandemic and loss of local foot traffic and police awareness at night. The building manager is very nice and responsive. However There are huge problems with specific units, Hot water doesn't always reach the end of the building I am on so generally I don't have running hot water to my dishwasher, shower or laundry. I wouldn't not renew or consider signing a lease in this building for the price I pay for rent, Due to it being early during Covid-19 I wasn't able to do a proper inspection on the place with building management. For the price I pay for rent I expect running warm-hot water. There are better options in the area. I've had issues for months with just responses "we are trying to fix this" but after living here since June nothing has been done. *Updated* After looking into the Residential Tenancies Act the apartment I was renting didn't meet minimum standards, * I have this in writing and acknowledged by several levels of GWLs management, however, the building manager changed( from Krystal to Jacqueline) as my lease was being broken( without penalty for not meeting those standards) I had a written agreement between myself and the old management team. However the new building management (who were quite rude to be honest) decided they would keep my damage deposit under no pretense except that I was "given" a free month at the start of my tenure in the building, despite during that time they were not meeting minimum rental standards. I will be looking into fighting this either legally or through appeals to the Rental Board, ill keep this post up dated as it continues * do not rent from this company and especially this building under any circumstances*

Great place to live, the management has been responsive to my questions and concerns and provided great customer service. The building is secure, the hallways and units in my opinion are well-spaced out so you don't hear your neighbors. The building is quiet and well maintained. At times I do hear some noise from Whyte ave during the weekends and summer, during the week and winter it's quiet and have no issues. I have lived here for almost a year and enjoy it very much, I like the location and would highly recommend living here.
